Only if you identify with the story, but that’s not what was implied. Only the truth was implied, I simply resonated with it.

 

Even the Muslims have a mutual infinity with the Christian symbolic character that is Jesus.

So it’s all good. It’s all God anyway. No problem.

Jesus is just the shortened Je suis, I am, That, I am. It's not a french perfume brand. The man Jesus was the awakened I am as the name infers. Christianity is an optional extra.

Realizing he is Truth I guess? The question was almost rhetorical and a prompt to contemplate. Still not sure how one can have direct experience of Jesus.

Honestly it's all stories and hearsay, and the bible/Christianity is, to me, forfeiting ones sovereignty. I view this as a tragedy.

Mothers side of my family are all born again Christians. I see it, and have it mentioned to me, almost every time I see them...

What you are doing here is called updating the Christian religion to a new agey version . Go to a priest in Sunday church and tell him hell is symbolic and see how that works out .

And btw the reason I keep stressing this point about Islam is because the Bible was written by human beings like Matthew and Luke and Moses etc whereas quran is supposed to be the literal words that God uttered with his lips .it's only few decades and Islam will be the most worldwide spread religion and it will toss Christianity since the west doesn't really take Christianity seriously anyways. People shag each other's on the  beach so come on .

I lean more this way - Jesus may have been real and true - Christianity is another thing entirely.

Can you imagine what Jesus would say about the religion created around him?

I’ve no idea what you’re saying, it’s like some story you’ve invented. It’s not my story.

OK I apologise.  What seems to be your problem here ? What are we discussing?  I merely observed Flowerfaeiry's "Jesus awakening " and said that its really difficult to deprogram your mind from religious indoctrination because the beliefs you get brainwashed with in your childhood tend to stick with you till your last breath .

Regarding your OP. I agree 👍.  What we are as God are birthless and deathless .

You cannot know anything about another person’s awakening or what steps they’ve taken to achieve it, metaphorically speaking. Each awakening is personal. IMO.

It’s not for one to judge another, we all experience our awakenings differently according to the god of our own understanding. And just because some awakenings are different, doesn’t mean it’s not authentic, difference is not an excuse to be dismissive or negatively judgemental. I feel like I’m judging and preaching now, you see, that’s what happens in forums.

A point though to discuss..awakening to Jesus or as she describes it "saved by Jesus " just can't possibly pan out.  It's not the be all end all . This is not awakening. This is religion. Jesus is god but God is not just Jesus. Even in the bible it says god causes his rain to fall and the sun to shine onto the good people and the transgressors. That's the whole beauty of god .it's free .its unlimited. It's unconditional. You are loved and accepted by God no matter what kind of sicko criminal you are .you don't have to worship Jesus or Buddha or Leo. Literally any spiritual teacher will do the trick .and then you grasp what these teachers are pointing to and then you are happy . Jesus died 2000 years ago and there is not a single bone left from corpse .present moment is god ..truth..way ..and life .
