This video completely changed the way I see Lex Fridman

Some things said in the video might have been overblown, but I can’t help but agree with almost everything that was said. I can’t see Lex the same way anymore. It’s like having an insight, and now I can’t go back to seeing him the old way, as an innocent man who’s authentic and full of love, or whatever image or persona he’s trying to adopt.

It’s like the box in the picture: once you realize there’s another perspective, everything changes instantly.

@vinc3nc i never understood why such a random guy became so popular. Now I know it, thanks.

He is really annoying.

Powerful, famous, and wealthy people need an interviewer who will never challenge their corruption.

That's why Lex is perfect for the job.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

This guy never called me . There is not even a single interview from him Ia could say was amazing. Was always hard to connect with his way of speaking. Somehow there was always something off. Is not always the case, sometimes some influencers had an effect on me and I gave credit just to discover the griftery later, like Albrey Marcus for example. Joe Rogan is another example that I always knew that there was something shady and fake. I think the ideia is to have a so big radar to bullshit that one is able to spot rigth away.

What always threw me off was his fake loving vibe.

Yeah, I picked up on him being a bullshitter back when it was unpopular. I could tell from his behavior and mannerisms but it took him siding with grifters and taking morally reprehensible positions before people started to catch on.

The main thing that gave him away early on was his virtue signaling. Always talking about peace and love. He was a try-hard. Trying very hard to be loved by as many as possible and desperately wanting to fit in with famous people. IIRC, these were the main giveaways. Things just weren’t congruent.

It's fascinating how love can be used to whitewash corruption.

The Devil loves to be loved by a lover of love.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.
