Does infinite consciousness explain what happens after we die?

9 posts in this topic

Does the "infinite consciousness" model, that Leo talks about, namely that consciousness is all there is, answer the question "What happens after we die?"?

The model implies that after we die an infinite number of possible scenarios could occur. You could be reborn as any sort of being (a snail, an alien). You could awaken as "God" and realize you were dreaming the whole thing. You could wake up in Christian heaven. You could remember past lives or you could wake up not remembering anything of past lives (similar to the current scenario). You could wake up as another human and die and do it all over again.

Right?

Worry about death when and if it comes . Go figure out what is happening now first .

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

-Leo Gura.

Broski Leo can’t tell you what happens after you die.

Nobody can.

There‘s no answer.

Are you asking from the point of view of the ego and body or from the point of view of the true self?

:-)

The simulacrum is never that which conceals the truth—it is the truth which conceals that there is none. The simulacrum is true.

@enchanted potentially, yes, but practically, infinity manifested has its laws, especially, Karma.

The aswer to the "what happens when we die" should always be always be "it depends".
And it mainly depends the framework used and/or on your level of spiritual developents. If all one think about in life is sex and donuts that particula individuality will just vanish from existence. In every one there is a divine spark that, figuratively, just goes bakc to the Creator, if not diveloped.
What spiritual practice usally does to a human is halping to coagulate that divine part in us, what is usally called Soul, that eventually remains after the death of the physical body, reincarnating in a new one. On Earth? In another Galaxy? Again, it depends on where are You on your Journey.
Eather way, You are going to reincarnate, unless you are a master and you can decide to dessolve into God or come back.
Only spiritually ignorant poeple don't reincarnate.

But You have to keep in mind that things like "Soul", "God", "Death" are just concept, and therefore arbitry categorization of reality that are not inherent to existence. Buddists reject the existence of a Soul or a God and their doctrine works just fine, and is right in its own way.
Or, imagine being Pure Infinity itself: You wouldn't even know a concept like reincarnation exist.

Authentic past lifes memories are a sign of good work, but they are rare, and not necessary.

Wait. God Consciousness is usually realized during life for the reasons a stated above.

Poeple who have deep religious faith usally don't develop enouth to go to an actual Heaven Beliving alone won't get you to whatever heaven you think about, because you are just going to be encored to Earth with standard Christian beliefs. These poeple are gonna come back as deeply religious poeple until they open up to mysticism.

It is not something that can be explained with words.

You need to have an experience of ego death (most notably through psychedelics) to grasp it and reframe completely your current paradigm of how reality works. Then you will get it ;)

From my understanding of hinduism its like your dad cummed a metaphysical universe into your mom and then the metaphysical universe is inside of a body to grow and form a personality and when you die your metaphysical universe leaves the body and joins the other metaphysical universe possibly merging with the entire thing and it starts over. When you die they say its a party because its way bigger.

Sometimes it's the journey itself that teaches/ A lot about the destination not aware of/No matter how far/
How you go/How long it may last/Venture life, burn your dread

Yes, this is essentially solipsism in a nutshell, although I'm not sure we can say for sure it joins other metaphysical universes.
