Show me the people who got enlightened from listening to Rupert Spira or Eckhart Tolle.

It’s the blind leading the blind.

Like a fat person giving advice on how to lose weight.

I mean there’s no free will anyway probably but its bs

You're jumping to unbased conclusions about me. Instead allow the validity of my reasoning determine whether it was written by a blind person or not.

I think that’s what’s partly „wrong“ with the world. People who know nothing trying to lead others. (In the story)

It's probably more complex then that but yea.

How did you conclude I know nothing if you haven't examined if my reasoning is correct or not?

Ultimately there’s nobody who knows anything really i‘d say. But some act as if they know stuff and can lead others.

There still is correct reasoning and incorrect reasoning. Like 2+2=4 and not 3.

I ask you again, how did you conclude I'm wrong about everything before examining the reasoning I gave?

@Sugarcoat I just watched a Robert Spira's video out of curiosity, i quite like it it's more comprehensible than Jim Newman.

Looks like all non dual teacher are clones who talk the same way, have similar facial expression and wear the same unicolor shirts lol.

I don’t know if they’re speaking from the same place but I find both have truth to it

I don’t know, I was mostly talking about things that change the brain, so psychedelics and hardcore spiritual practice

Because you’re not enlightened but you say what you „need to do to become enlightened“ it’s nonsense.

Enlightened means one who speaks the truth. How did you conclude I speak bullshit before examining my words?

Radical nondualists would maybe say

There are no pieces

theres no puzzle

or if there is a puzzle every piece was always at it rightful place already.

I think psychedelics can give you interesting insights and experiences abd can given you creativity and open you up etc. but they can’t liberate you really.

Jim Newman seems more “radical”, be far, but it makes him more hermetic.

Nevermind

It seems that enlightenment is possible because we have a brain. So a table can’t be enlightened because it has no consciousness/no brain.

So maybe the brain plays a role in enlightenment.

The brain is like a type of form that creates (or at least contributes to) a conscious experience/self, so it has the possibility of getting in touch with the true nature of reality, for the person to become enlightened

Nothing I say is something I know of course.

Permanent enlightenment in general seems highly unlikely. But maybe psychedelics can increase chance for it, Martin ball for example who used 5 Meo dmt
