I quit all caffeine

I quit caffeine too and realized I did not actually need it for anything. It was only adding negative effects without real benefits. If anyone here is thinking about quitting, my advice is to be patient. It can take surprisingly long before you feel truly normal again. But once you get there, you realize you don't need caffeine at all and you can enjoy that freedom for the rest of your life.

A good way to stop is to replace it with a measurable option ; I did black tea but cut my dosage from a quarter every 10 days. So it took me 40 days to quit and another 45-60 days to feel normal with no caffeine at all.

I drink decaf Coffee for about a year and a half now for health benefits minus the caffeine. It takes about a month to get used to decaf but then you actually start craving it a lot funny enough. I still drink plain matcha which has caffeine but is waaay more stable energy than regular coffee. Matcha is another drink that takes about a month to get used to. I wish I could stop the caffeine entirely but the matcha is such a powerful anti oxidant source that I just must have it for my health and longevity goals.

This thread has inspired me however to try at least one week no caffeine and see how it goes.

@LoneWonderer one week wont cut it. You need a couple of months, maybe more to get your dopamine system back running normal again. Then you will feel the real deal of no caffeine life.

F**k, no easy way around eh? I'll have to try it at some point but giving up my Matcha routine will be painful not so much for the taste of matcha but feels like I'm not achieving my longevity goals.

@LoneWonderer if you don't have any problems with it then don't quit. I had problems with caffeine. I'am more of a fiery/passionate person and the rush the caffeine gives is too much for me. Also the anxiety was so bad for me.
