What is your Bible?

There is a nuclear war and you are only allowed to take 1 book with you into your bunker. If you were allowed to keep 1 book. Which one would it be?

That would be a very specialized book for this purpose. Like I might love to read a book about an adventure once but that wouldnt make it a good fit as the one book for the bunker, not because its bad but because its not intended to be read multiple times.

A person kept sane in a prison where he was isolated because he managed to steal a book about chess rules and played chess in his head all day long. So a book that gives you something to work on could be good.

Maybe a very long and complicated book as well where it takes you years to decode every single detail.

I started listening to Goethes and Nietzsche as an audio book and quit very fast because you need full attention to follow so it wasnt a good fit as something I could casually listen to in the gym but that would maybe make it a great fit for the one book in the bunker.

Definitely not the Bible. Just kidding.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

It'd be Asterix for me! xD On a more serious note, my "bible" is Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, however there's so many good ones...maybe "Atomic Habits"?  :D

Maybe "the secret doctrine"

Maybe "a course in miracles"

Imagine for a moment, dear friends, that you are Conciousness, and that you have only this one awareness - that you are at peace, and that you are.

Didn't Rudolf Steiner move in the same circle as Blavatsky?

Imma taking the fattest diary book of blank paper I can find for creativity and play... probably attempt to hide a deck of cards in between the many pages.

I believe so, yea. But I don't gravitate towards him for some reason. He has his own thing going on.

Probably a Meditation (or Yoga) manual like "The mind illuminated". So it will keep me busy.
