Apparition of Jack

If you want to defeat Israel, promise Jews there’ll never be another Holocaust.

They are giving Jews around the world a horrible name and reputation

Just like Hamas gives all Gazans a bad rep

Should Muslims blame a particular nation each time one of them does something wrong and islamophobia is the result? Do you sing the same tune then?

Very simple, because of an increase in violence towards Jews.

I checked in IA and thats right, a lot of violence.

There is one thing that must be recognized, and that is that Muslims must recognize Israel and then demand fair treatment from the Palestinians. As long as the Muslim principle is that Israel must disappear, there will be war. Israel exists between national entities that do not destroy it solely because they cannot. Their desire is Israel's destruction, so... war. So the solution is to wage war on them until they no longer want it. What else to do?

And Syria and Egypt and Iraq and pretty much any Muslim nation which has enacted violence on it's own citizens or others?

Practically speaking we don't do that. We don't tell Muslims they should blame Muslim nations for our behavior towards them. We dissuade Islamophobia without pretenses.

Syria, Egypt and Iraq were not doing it on the name of religion

They were typical ruthless secular dictatorships

Israel does its evil on the name of religion, their government are religious zelots that want to get land based on what their bible says

The worst parts of Israeli politics and society (like the illegal settlers) are religious fundamentalists

Which is why I used Iran, ISIS and Al Qaeda as examples, they are also religious fundamentalists

Egypt, Sadam and Syria were not

Ironically only after their regimes were changed, the religious nutcases started running amok

Last case is the new leader in Syria

You're just defining arbitrary goalposts.

If Muslim countries or groups do that while claiming to represent Muslims, yes they are partially responsible if it causes a rise in bigotry against Muslims.

If a Muslim agrees that they represent Muslims, they can’t turn around and complain about Islam a phobia because of their actions because they further that very narrative.

Similar to how you refer to Israel as “we” and say Israel represents the Jewish religion, if you say this you are adding to the conflation between blaming Jews for what Israel does.

I've never seen anyone argue that Muslim nations should be blamed for Islamophobia and that Muslims should be upset with those nations in response to Islamophobia.

Show me where in practice anyone has made this argument? Yet it's done to Jews. The double standard is crazy.

That’s not what I said.

I said if a Muslim is claiming a Muslim country or group represents Muslims, then that country or group behaves badly and some people blame Muslims as a group for it, that Muslim can’t turn around and complain about that because they themselves were saying that group represents them.

Radical groups that claim to represent Muslims while doing bad things are obviously partially responsible for islamaphobia, that doesn’t mean that anyone bashing Muslims as a group for what said group does isn’t also responsible.

Saying israel represents Jews is adding to antisemitism because if people believe you and dislike what israel does, they’ll blame Jews as a group. That doesn’t make it correct or fair, but it will happen.

People are individuals. That's why these blanket attacks on individuals are stupid.

Even if you believe a nation represents you, that shouldn't excuse any form of antisemitism or Islamophobia. That is the message we should be spreading... not hey Jews you should blame Israel! or... hey Muslims if you identify with being xyz you shouldn't complain about Islamophobia!
