There are no sides absolutely speaking, as the coin is what it is.

There are 2 sides relatively speaking, as those sides are opposites.

Depends how you look at it. From one POV every coin has two sides. From another point of view, there is just a coin. Both perspectives are equally valid and true at the same time. Again relativism, see.

Imagine for a moment, dear friends, that you are Conciousness, and that you have only this one awareness - that you are at peace, and that you are.

One of them is relative and the other is absolute.

Also, notice that the terms "feminine" and "masculine" are not tautological.

@Salvijus   Do you have an actual example of this, or do you agree with me then that men are not somehow blocking women in the west from waking up ?

What is an actual example of how this dick energy can block a woman in America from waking up if she wants to ? I'm not for the dick heads, I'm just not sure how there are really any impediments to waking up in the west ? We have books, meditation groups, spiritual communities, some spiritual people even make a living on youtube without being burned at the stake. The only thing blocking us here is ourselves.

Fair enough. I have no objections here.

Mind determines what is allowed to exist what isn't. Heart expresses itself accordingly. The prejudices in the collective conciousness of America are the blocks. The collective ego you could say.

Okay, so which prejudices in the collective consciousness of America are blocking women from waking up if they want to ?

Both relative and absolute perspective is true. You can't have an absolute perspective without there being a relative one and vice versa. They depend on each other.

I couldn't understand that.

It's really hard to pin down, but you know it's there. Ego is everywhere to some degree.

Well it creates obstruction. You can wake up, but there is a lot of shit that you'll have to deal with so it limits how far you can go before you brake the container. The container in America is very good compared to other places but it's not perfect.

Relative must depend on the absolute. The opposite would mean that the absolute is not absolute in the first place.

I'm saying that selectively using the terms "feminine" or "masculine", which are relative, to describe absolute things is pointless and even confusing if you can't or don't care to distinguish relative from absolute.

@Salvijus  I really don't see how it's somehow harder for woman to wake up than men ? We all have our conditioning, traumas, limiting beliefs etc. to work through. The amount of shit that you need to work through is not dependent on your gender.

Because transcending the ego through detachment, renunciation and awareness is easier for men. Free expression and being intune with the devine will of love is easier for women. But the expression of the feminine side of spirituality has to wait until there is enough work done on the masculine side of spirituality to prepare the ground. However, both men and women can practice masculine and femine side of spirituality. I wonder if that connects the dots.

The only way you can grasp what is absolute is if you have an understanding of what is relative. So they both always go together.

I'm not calling an absolute feminine or masculine. I'm saying existence itself has a polarity between being in a state of infinite potential and being in a state of infinite expression.

Aha, that's more clear, thank you.

@Salvijus

From where I look, masculinity isn't Zen; people high in testosterone actually tend to be highly passionate and involved in material things.

Women may appear more "zen" on the outside, but this is a response to stress, not an absence of stress.

For me, it's a game of identification; stress and emotion are perceived in men but projected as objects.

Somehow, when a woman stresses, "she stresses," when a man stresses, "it" stresses.

I've noticed this in myself: if I distance myself from maya (without dissolving it!), "I" automatically become more caricaturedly virile, even my voice becomes stronger and more assertive.

They are different. That does not mean the absolute depends on the relative.

E.g., if someone tells you something that gives another context to a situation, does that understanding or situation depend on that person? Of course, it does not.
