I just watched a relevant interview/dialouge between Sadhguru and some hardnosed scientist. Will link it here.
 
But I never realized how deep this problem goes. The scientists guy in the video was so obviously entrenched in a clever belief system with pre-made tactics to defend and justify himself in circles. Astounding.
 
And with such arrogance, he comes across as quite retarted — flailing at windmills, if you will
 
And when you listen to this scientists dude speak about the brain as the source of consciousness and all this shit, you feel the anxious, rushing energy behind his words, and it all sounds like zombie drivel — the ramblings of a true epistemic scoundrel
 
Versus when Sadhguru speaks it is clear, calming, etc. No fluff. Man knows what he's talking about (even tho that's nothing)
 
Anyways, just wanted to post this here to provide another example of this epistemic poverty, this epistemilpgical bankruptcy, and the "flailing at windmills" dynamic that keeps these gears churning in motion.
