Email to federal employees

It appears all employees received an email from Elon Musk to state what they did the prior week (like a weekly status report) and if they didn't respond it would be taken as their resignation.   

Wtf?  A lot of employees are scared for their jobs but are being told by immediate supervision not to respond.  And unions say they will be challenging.  

What kind of corporate corruption is this shit?  

I would tell them to kick rocks!

If this is really true it's such a joke.   If they want to fire them all just fire them.    It just seems so messed up.  I work in the corporate environment so I know how messed up it can get but this the worst of the worst.  They should all just start getting their resumes ready...but it's kinda messed up that they should have to.

Musk is more dangerous than Trump, given his actions so far. Musk comes off to me (spiritually) as closer to Putin, a cold merciless liar. He is kind of just using Trump to seize power.

People really have to wake up. The "legal means" is the next election, but leading up to that there has to be efforts for educating the masses of what is actually going on. 

People need to stop being a Musk apologist. He is playing a psychological game by being this "corporate techno-crat". But I know this man has the potential to be a heartless dictator.

No i just try to see things from multiple perspectives.   But listen this corporate stuff isn't anything new.  The problem is it's being poured into the federal government now and we are turning the federal government into a tech company.   Thats what's happening.  So I don't like the BS that goes on there - I never have because I deal with it everyday.   This isn't anything new I just think they just stick to their guns and tell him to kick rocks.

They are treating it like a corporation which is what everyone wanted. That means you let them completely take over your corporation and they save you money. That is what they are saying they are doing. When elon take over Twitter he did the same thing. The problem is government is public relations they have no idea what they doing. Donald trump thinks he's been appointed by every single citizen to do this.

You can ask Grok to write you a bulleted list of why your gov job is highly essential.

This email scheme is just so dumb in concept.

It's like writing a group of people: "Please tell us if you are a bad person so we can fire you." Thinking this is how you remove bad people from an organization.

Shows you the joke that DOGE is.

And what you do you think is going to happen if you tell you are doing this and that on paper, and then they do a check and you weren't doing shit? In terms of legality it is very smart he is asking that question through email because if they catch you lying you are screwed.

Justifying your job is not a factual matter. It's not a matter of lying. It's a matter of perspective.

Can Musk justify what he did in the last week at Tesla to justify him keeping his job?

It's an asinine way to manage an organization. No job can be seriously justified on the basis of last week's task list.

What you need is to educate people on the rise of merciless dictators to power and how such things happen.

In the early phases of what seems to be an authoritarian takeover, combating disinformation is where it's at, it really starts as an "information warfare". And as you can see, someone like Musk can just purchase information spaces. I will also expect things like elections meddling internally and with neighbouring countries.

If people don't fight disinformation/propaganda then that's what will win out over time, if that has more momentum than the other side. It can become so extreme that nobody either can or knows to say no/fight back anymore. If you don't want to live in that kind of country/world then it's important to "fight back" disinformation, than to just let it slide.

Part of combating disinformation is to start seeing the parallels between all these people and be prepared. They'll strip more and more of your rights and freedoms, and tell you some nice sounding lies, act like they're innocent puppies, and next thing you know you have none left. 

I am anticipating a pretty dark scenario if people don't push back on Trump/Elon earlier on, and as well if a disaster happens on the Ukraine front because of the idiocy/corruption of Trump/Musk. Putin also has an influence over this, since Trump/Musk are too close ideologically to Putin, there is increased danger that they could be corrupted further by Putin.

This is all happening rapidly before our eyes, I think the speed of which depends on how quickly the pro-democratic leaders/citizens of the world react and band and work together, learn from people like Zelensky, and Putin's opponents/critics, etc.

I have to sound the alarm because I'm not too naive to think this couldn't happen on the North American continent the way things are politically at this time. The same thing happening in Russian and Ukraine could also happen in the US and Canada.

We may suspect many social media accounts are bots. But I am following many citzens and hearing real life stories of the consequeces of this TechoRetart Elon. 

Like this:

"One of my staff members told me this past week that she didn’t care if we all lost our jobs because of the cuts in services and potentially the grants that fund our nonprofit in which we help the homeless obtain housing, jobs and get back on their feet. she went on to say that she didn’t think anything we do actually benefits the people we help. I’m like WTAF did you just say? Good to know who to cut first if that starts happening.  Why the hell is she even working there? Magats"

And this:

"The number of people I spoke to this week who said govt employees should be paid on a commission basis and that the govt should operate solely on a profit motive is staggering. Where is the profit in, say, firefighting? Of course the answer to any follow up questions is always “stfu lib___”. Like even with this Musk email nonsense - if a firefighter didn’t put out any fires this past week should they be fired? Or should they have set one themselves and then put it out to earn their keep?"
