@Leo Gura What are your thoughts on Tony Robbins? I recently checked out his channel and he does have some interesting ideas on beliefs and he actually has some really powerful teachings on inner engineering. I kept scrolling though and he then had a one hour podcast with defense contractors who in the middle of the podcast belittled social security calling it “entitlement spending.” To me this would be in violation of my belief system and seems just completely contradictory from the values and truth I have found within. I am trying to understand how such a world view is formed where you can understand what Tony teaches about beliefs, the universe, wisdom, and then simultaneously seem to have this parallel system running in unison which seems almost perverse, almost an excuse you turn a blind eye to which is used for supporting your survival or the parts of your worldview you built your business on.

@Lyubov When you learn from someone there is a noise to signal ratio of falseness and truth, and alignment and non-alignment with your values and beliefs. Tony is good. Tony is about hard work, not sitting on social security. For guys like that that’s being a parasite for crippled and retarded people it’s a safety net.

Unless social security is the thing people pay into all their lives for retirement. That’s just a plain misunderstanding of it if so. Rich people don’t understand social security.

Yeah, Tony isn't bad at all. In fact there are a lot of really useful beliefs he espouses and he shares some great teachings on beliefs and persistence. I would actually say a lot of Tony's more recent content isn't just your usual hard work teachings. He dives pretty deep actually into some really wise concepts that are as old as the hills and a good bit of spirituality and authentic "higher" self stuff is woven into them.

My bringing it up was more-so about how a person wouldn't have a deeper understanding of social security, why it exists, the reasons behind it, and then dismiss it as entitlement. Granted I haven't watched the whole video, nor have the time or energy too, and Tony himself didn't say it and is not present in this video (but it's on his channel so to me he is responsible for it being there).

I'm basically trying to garner some lessons from understanding a world view which believes in self improvement, is aware of spirit, seems quite sharp on a lot of wisdom but simultaneously adjacent to defense contractors, people who see a safety program like social security which many sick people benefit from as a burden, etc. because to me what I am aware of within it's unfathomable and a lower order of thinking to clarify something which ultimately benefits all, which has an intention behind it to help people in need, to me that right there I understand as a good for the world. Not as in a religious way or a moral crusade but as I understand how the world works it is necessary to have. It doe not work perfectly of course, but no other alternatives exist besides devolving into feudalism, a tragedy of the commons and wealth inequality. I'm trying to understand the bias in Tony's world view how you can be spiritual but invest in Palintir which creates AI to kill Gaza kids.... what am I not getting, what are they not getting?

Excellent question and very well put.

Isn't the problem that guys like that have giant egos? You don't do arena tours just to help people (which in itself is an egoic reason) It's about the rush of being on stage, of being significant, making the business work. I've seen many NLP guys cross over into all sorts of shady stuff such as Multi Level Marketing.

Sure, you can learn useful things from him.

For me his style of development is not interesting. I don't like how materialistic it is.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@Thought Art can you tell me more about your life purpose? I'm super interested in reprogramming my subconscious to become a millionaire but I'm not getting traction.

Years ago, I logically understood that truth is existence, but it never occurred to me how important that is.

I also understood that a phenomenon cannot exist outside of the category that defines that phenomenon, as it would be a category mistake. But it never made sense how any phenomenon is created.

However, truth being existence solves this, because any phenomenon being the truth annihilates the idea of those phenomena being caused within their phenomenological category by some other phenomenon. So, any phenomenon is literally self-caused by virtue of existing, which means that any explanation of the creation of those phenomena using other phenomena is wrong.

Self-causation is how anything comes into existence; it is common to all phenomena or it is absolute.

When I look deeper at what I am identified with, it will be revealed that I am restricting my identity to some phenomena. No matter what, I am going to unknowingly identify with the absolute.

Thus, my true identity cannot be restricted; otherwise, it's an illusion. My true identity is based on what makes all phenomena true—self-causation.

I, being every phenomenon, am causing myself to exist.

I am the one who causes.
