Some people obsession with quitting porn

After watching porn I feel very lonely and even depressed. I don't think our minds were developed for porn. It is artificial. You watch some guy fucking a girl you wish you could fuck but you can't. How do you think it effects you psyche or self-esteem?

that´s a good point.

And let´s not even talk if you fantasise about being the girl.

But again, I'm just sharing my experience with porn. I'm not here to argue with people on this topic.

Don´t worry, jokes aside I value your insight into the topic. I agree with most of it.

There is a lot going on against pornography lately.

Now, I´m not saying is healthy to waste your time and energies watching sexual content on a regular basis, is clear some people are using (abusing it) and is becoming an habit on its own where to waste time and manage anxiety.

But is not addiction, is just that you are using that to avoiding face boringness, anxiety, etc. Is not like pornography has physical dependence as drugs.

BUT ANYWAYS, im not even taking about that. I´m talking about that some want to quit porn because of psychological reasons.

This psychological reasons are that for this people porn or fantasies are producing a certain karmic tension for them. Because their ego has certain repressed tendencies and shadows, and sex is that place where those tendencies and repressed shadows are felt, and arise without barriers.

This is scary for the mind and it sees as 'bad'. Because they think this tension is something bad. No, is that you are getting close to the nucleus of karmic content of your ego. The more you feel against a certain porn taste or fetish, the more your ego doesn't want to observe something.

The moment you won´t repress the karmic content that being revealed to the surface, then you will see porn is not bad, is actually a mirror that is reflecting information about your system, something very deep.

You don´t have to be against it or raise it to the heavens, you just have to be completely neutral and watch what is being revealed.

In other words: just completely let go. Doesn´t matter how daunting it is for your mind to let go, do it.

So basically in summary, if you want to quit porn because it 'promotes' certain porn taste or fetishes and you feel this things are 'bad', you actually got it backwards.

Porn can be an addiction.
Addiction happen via alleviation of boredom.

P®n had ruined my libido, motivation and had given me severe ED at 26 years old

Everyone is different . Look what works or doesn't work for yourself . Only you can be honest with yourself and know if you have s problem and if it robs you of your life's zest to live  more fully

makes no sense imho to mock or deride any desire to lessen porn watching. that shows dedication and self-love. porn is fine when used moderately, but obviously bad in excess.

You can't ever be enlightened/have God in your baseline state of consciousness 24/7 if you indulge with sexuality for pleasure/have a vibration of lust in your being, so as long as you're good with this consequence aka lifelong pain and suffering and disability to enter heaven so be it, then there is absolutely no problem with porn or anything lust/3D sex releated

You need God's help. You don't want this on your consciousness.

Plenty of pornstars love their job and have positive experiences. The Holly Randall channel on Youtube is full of these stories.

@strika You sound to me to have a lot of moral compulsions and heavy energy in how you speak; I don't think you resonate very much with this God consciousness that you speak of.

Porn isn't always just of mirror of you and your karmic content, porn can also alter your desires and make you perceive sexuality in a whole different light. There is also the concept of mimetic desire that's really important to understand, google it. Some sexual desires or fetishes will be triggered by porn and aren't just hidden in the shadow of an individual. I personally don't think porn is bad or good, it just is, like everything.

Does the OP have this antipathy towards people wanting to stop smoking or drinking. "all things in moderation" isn't just a cliche.
