  1. After months of searching Spotify for an ideal playlist of music to trip on, I have found this gem:

    https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4YxX55Br9pvp8SBHMHJ35n?si=a87d64e57fc5404e

I have built my own playlist out of this playlist and I think you should do the same, if you like chillstep music, which in my opinion is perfect for tripping.

Here are some of my favourite songs:

  2. I have been contemplating this question for sometime. It's important to be able to explain to rational people that the existence of God can't be proven. This is what I have come up with, please feel free to add your own answers to this same question:

The concept of proof is based on the presupposition that there is a real distinction between the subject that is asking for proof and the subject that should provide the proof. This distinction, like any other distinction, is ultimately unreal. I can't prove you my existence because I am you.

God can't be proven because God is what the concept of proof is based on. God is the canvas on which reality is painted on and, at the same time, is the images that are painted on the canvas. I can't show you the existence of the canvas on which, I myself, I am drawn on.

The concept of proof is based on the idea that all truths have an opposite, something false with which you can compare the truth and make it stand out as truth. But the Absolute doesn't have an opposite. It's all Truth. God is the substance that makes up every appearence. The subject of a dream that becomes conscious of being inside a dream can't prove to the other characters of the dream that everything is made up of Mind. Inside a dream everything is made of Consciousness.

The concept of proof is based on rationality, logic and the notion of causality, but God is not just rational, is not just logic and it doesn't have any cause. In one of my last trips, I have become conscious that I as God have created myself, God has created himself, this doesn't make any fucking sense but it's nonetheless true. Existence is the definition of a miracle.

@Leo Gura Would you add anything else to this brief list?

  3. Usually we think of love as open, allowing, acceptive and feminine but there is also a brutal aspect to Love. Sometime ago, Leo posted on his blog a video of I Am Legend as an example of an harsh expression of Love: https://www.actualized.org/insights/this-is-love

The movie Beautiful Boy is another good example of the kind of love I am talking about: the father of a drug addict tries everything to help his son get clean, even trying drugs himself, but in the end he has to accept that he can't help him and has to let him go and cut him off completely from his life out of love. Highly suggested movie.

It would be helpful to understand that love is not just the stereotypical kind of love that people usually think about when hearing the word "Love".

Please share other examples of brutal love that you have seen in movies, books, articles, news, blog posts, YouTube videos etc. or even examples from your own life.

10 minutes before the video got taken down, there were only positive comments. Most people, who watch his videos so early are subscribers, who are fine with Leos teachings.

Besides that, when did Leo ever take a video down because of rude comments? If anything, his "outrageous experiment in consciousness" video would be the first one to delete after that logic.

Yes, the comments that I read where only positive ones, that's why I said that something must have happened otherwise his decision doesn't make sense. Something happened, of which we are not aware of, that made Leo decide to take down the video, maybe someone direct messaged him and threatened to kill himself or some other weird shit. He's not an idiot guys.

  5. Kundalini awakening means awakening of your body/mind complex, through various yogic techniques. Believe it or not, there are parts of your brain that are sleeping or not working at full capacity, when those parts of the brain are activated the neurochemistry of your whole body is going to change and so even your everyday experience might change accordingly.

People are unnecessarily scared of the awakening of kundalini, it has become almost like an urban myth in spiritual circles. In my experience there is no difference between the awakening of kundalini and awakening, they are one and the same thing.

In fact, the following weeks of a session of 5-meo-malt I am usually in an awakened state, I have visions, if I meditate I get easily back to a non-dual state and I experience other weird phenomena. Basically I get to the same place via the practice of kriya yoga, obviously not as deep as a peak of a psychedelic trip but still.

My suggestion is to not divide the use of psychedelics and kundalini yoga they reach the same end goal by different routes, changing the chemistry of the brain directly versus changing the chemistry of the brain through physical practice and inner energy modulation.

Clearly if you don't want to experience weird phenomena stay away from inner work altogether.

Lastly, I suggest this book to everyone that wants to really learn about kundalini: kundalini tantra by Swami Satyananda Saraswati.

  6. These are obvious Kundalini symptoms. You need to learn how to control the energy that is being liberated by your practice of letting go, study the chakra system and start practicing Kriya Yoga, you might start having results right from the start. On Leo's book list you will find all the information to start practicing Kriya Yoga, to learn about the chakra system I suggest you read Kundalini Tantra by Swami Satyananda Saraswati.

  7. I would stop calling it solipsism because that word comes with too many assumption, instead I would call it Love. True solipsism is Love. Reality is a strange loop and Love is the ultimate strange loop. Love is a strange loop, I am inside of you and you are inside of me, perfect unity. There can't really be separation, just the illusion of separation which you are busy imagining to keep believing you are a separate entity from Me, which is you.

For instance, when you are inside your room, the entirety of eternity is present in your room, which it isn't really your room but your own infinite Mind. I am inside your room, or wherever else you could be reading this messageright now, because I am your own Mind and obviously you are inside my room because you are my own Mind. Love was always with you all along. That's the message of Leo's video about satisfaction meditation.

  8. I have tried 5-MeO-MALT once and my experience was beautiful. It's incredible what 10mg of this substance can do. In my experience the main differences from 5-MeO-DMT are:

    1. It doesn't skyrocket you to non-duality, it gets you there gently.
    2. It gives you plenty more time to understand what is going on with your consciousness.
    3. It doesn't overload your energetic system, sometimes with 5-MeO-DMT I thought some body parts were going to explode, due to energetic blockages.
    4. For me it has similar inner visuals to a breakthrough of mushrooms or LSD, I could see the infinite faces of God. I think this might be influenced by my practice of Kriya Yoga and Kundalini Yoga.
    5. It heals your mind by getting you to accept that you are every teacher that you have ever learned from, during the trip I understood that I am Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Leo, Peter Ralston, etc. The realization that others are your own Mind can be fucking scary on 5-MeO-DMT.
    6. It allowed me to get like never before into the Present, so I understood what meditation is really about. To get so much into the Present with meditation someone might need to meditate for years on end.

From my experience, 5-MeO-MALT is the feminine energetic version of 5-MeO-DMT.

@Leo Gura Thanks for having shared this incredible chemical.

  9. As Leo said in some of his videos, after you work with 5-MeO-DMT and go back to use other psychedelics, such as LSD or mushrooms, make sure to lower the doses that you used to take before your brain experienced 5-MeO-DMT.

After some 20 trips with 5-MeO-DMT, even if at low doses, I went back to use mushrooms and the experience I got was immensely powerful, I had to lower the dose from 1 gram of dehydrated mushrooms to 0,5 and to make my mushroom trips manageable. Over the weekend, I used 0,5 grams of mushrooms and had a trip in which I realized that everything is my own imagination, my own Mind. I am writing a blog post to my own imagination. The Consciousness that is writing this blog post is the same Consciousness that is reading it, which is not an easy realization to digest, if you are not ready for it.

Be careful, especially if you are extremely sensitive to psychedelics, as I am.

  10.

I just got this YouTube ad and I couldn't help but laughing, due to the evident irony of the situation: it seems like Neil deGrasse Tyson is talking about all the blind spots of the human mind, while, at the same time, not being aware of the blind spots of his own scientific mind. I am sure the course might be useful to a lot of people, especially blue and pre-rational. I just found it funny. You might like this, as an example of scientific self bias @Leo Gura

Stop listening to Kant. He had no idea what he was talking about.

@Leo Gura In The Book Of Not Knowing, Peter Ralston gives praises to Kant, it doesn't make sense to me how someone like Ralston can't see the obvious limits of Kant's thought. The philosophy of Kant is utterly dualistic, with his division between the phenomena and the noumenon, which is  the division between matter and spirit (consciousness).

For the life of me I don't understand his reasons for "having a big secret."  It feels so immature.  If you really wanted to keep something secret, simply don't announce that it exists.  All this announcement and subsequent hiding just feels like an ego trip.  But please, feel free to prove me wrong.

Do you have any idea the possible legal repercussions that he might suffer from being the first one to reveal a brand new psychedelic and announce it publicly on YouTube? He could get massive unwanted attention, I feel like he's just taking the necessary legal precautions. Not everything is about ego.

  13. How do you know that there is any difference between everyday experience and what it feels to be dead? Death is just a belief/word. Being has no opposite and doesn't need anything to be, it is because it is Being. In order to understand it, you have to deconstruct your mind.

"I ask you only to stop imagining that you were born, have parents, are a body, will die and so on. Just try, make a beginning. It is not as hard as you think." - Nisargadatta Maharaj

Relationships are nearly impossible even when your values align, nevermind when they don't.

What is your experience in finding a partner with your same values? It has been nearly impossible for me to find a person or a friend with my same values, let alone a partner with a similar understanding of reality. I can only imagine that for you is even worst.

If I would be completely open about all my experiences and insights, people would think I am insane. The thing is that people that follow your work (or any other serious spiritual practice) and really understand it are the 0,0001% of the population, being optimistic. We should start a new app "Tinderized" LOL.

I am completely ok being alone or not "taking off the mask", but I sure would like to meet someone with whom I could spend hours talking about the deepest topics possible.
