@NoSelfSelf Sweet. I like how you put the I in mystery. Deep. Man’s been doing that for a while now. What a mrstery. If you’re still rabbit holin that mistery....list desires. Not yours, just generically. What is the overriding theme?

@Massimiliano Giudice What is the outcome you want?

@daniel695 Pick a topic. Make 3 bullet points of what you want the listener to get from the video, about that topic. Then research a little on each bullet point, make 3 direct statements for each. Then choose the main message, what is the overall or underlying point you want the listener to get? That’s the summary. If you still have the motivation only to film, but not to research a few points, simply film a video about how you do the research for a video.

Mind the practices, they are sound & reliable. With only a moment of self inquiry there is peace...In asking, who is aware of this thought? Ask...Is this thought arising outside of awareness? No, clearly this thought arises within awareness. So you can not be the thought. Clearly you could never be a thought which comes and goes, as you are always the constant unchanging untarnishable, impenetrable, perfect, ever loving awareness - aware of the thoughts which come and go. No thing (thoughts are just ‘things’) which comes and goes can be your true nature. You are always what’s aware of what comes & gos. It is because you are perfect just as you are right now - that thoughts will appear as imperfect. Thoughts are not to be believed. You are the truth; aware of all thoughts. You are the truth; so no thought could be true. Believing thoughts is “attachment”. Attachment, is suffering. How do I stop believing my thoughts? How do I stop attaching? ....these questions have no answer to be found in more thinking. So what is needed is to leave thinking, to let it be. All that is needed, all that is ever needed, is love. But when I self inquire there is fear, anxiety, there is pain, hurt. Write your feelings down on a piece of paper, express how you feel about whatever arises, let it out onto the paper. Let it out. Then your mind can see it, and begin to understand the feelings and sensations. Nothing which is understood is a problem. Thinking gives 10,000 reasons not to do this. Thinking is not to be believed. The feelings & sensations, like the thoughts, come & go within awareness. Clearly, you are aware of them. Clearly, you are the awareness of these. How can I know I am the truth, as you say? Woman looks in the mirror and thinks, “I wish I was thinner”. Why does this thought feel bad? She is the truth. The truth can only ever be the truth. When the woman thinks I wish I was thinner, she is mistakenly identifying with the body. She is the truth, the truth can not join her when she implies she is the body. She mistakenly believes the sensation is a ‘bad’ feeling. But the ‘bad’ feeling is a message, the message is, “no sweetie, when you identify with the body, I can not go there with you. Because it’s not true. You are perfect, right now, exactly how you are. And you can do whatever you want with this body.” You’re already perfect Nadosa. -
How can ego be the cause of desire really? Ego is a real thing?
-
♥️ Is that absolutely true? How do you know it is true? What is your evidence?

@Juan Cruz Giusto ☺️

@NoSelfSelf That is excellent. .......so what is the cause of desire?

Just quote this and add....we’ll do one part at a time. “I want a girlfriend” What is stopping me / the reasons I can’t have a girlfriend: 1. 2. 3. ...
-
@Mikael89 Let’s focus on one at a time....the girlfriend first, cool?

@FoxFoxFox A contemplation might help....if you had the opportunity to kill Hitler in his ‘prime’, thus saving millions of innocent lives, would you do it? What about before he killed the first victim? What about a year before that? What about when he was 25? 20? 10? 1? What about his pregnant mother? What about both parents, before his conception? -

This is avoidance of sensations, resulting in being led by reactional thought. Yelling - “I won’t be hurt again, I’ll scare you before you hurt me” Overconfident - “Look how great I am - I can never be hurt again (I think I’m fooling them)” Fear of enemy - “I’ll protect that hurt “me”, by projecting the pain of having ‘disconnected’ from source, onto you, rather than inspecting that “me” and that fear” Doubt about future - “Rather than inspect the beliefs I know can’t be true because they don’t feel good - I’ll project that suffering onto reality / circumstances”. (That way I never have to self inquire, and never have to present with the suffering) -
Nahm replied to Neorez's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Neorez Try to go back to why you read two of his books. What were you looking for, what were you wanting to be without? There’s likely a revelation there for you. Nihilism is the ceiling of psychological and pragmatic shedding of beliefs - at the level of thinking. But the nihilist is not self realized, because they have not done the work (self inquiry, etc). Realizing there is nothing, is not realizing I am nothing / ‘who’ nothing is. Notice that “Jed is enlightened”, is a belief, you hold. Perhaps it’s more accurate, for you, to say, “Jed is a nihilist”. -
@Sam Barker Needing validation from someone else, is like believing I can’t really be happy unless someone makes me happy. It’s a perpetual losing battle, in terms of happiness. There is a reason someone started believing they need validation from another, which became a belief about their self they are holding on to in fear, which is delusional, as they actually are, happiness.
