  1. Did you see Matthew Walker’s recent transformation? He’s the famous sleep expert, but obviously he did something
  2. Thanks for sharing your perspectives guys! One of the values I’m still a bit confused about is spirituality, which I value deeply. But does it really make sense to seek that value in your potential romantic partner? In the end, isn’t spirituality just about your direct relationship with God? Would be curious if you have some experiences to share about having a spiritual vs non-spiritual partner
  3. Thanks Leo, you couldn’t have said it better. Now I don’t know if I should be happy because I finally understood this, or sad because the chances of finding a girl that would align with all my values is like 0.001% 🥲
  4. I’m puzzled by the following two perspectives when it comes to compatibility in a romantic relationship: 1. If you’re spiritually developed, it means you have little to no ego, and hence you can be happy no matter the external circumstances. “The great way is easy for those with no preferences” as said Seng-t'san. 2. Authenticity is also important, and you are free to choose any experience that fits you best for this short time you are here on this planet. So, when suspecting incompatibility in a relationship, how do I know if it is coming from the ego (i.e., always wanting more, a prettier girl, bigger boobs, etc.), or if it is a conflict with the genuine expression of my authenticity?
  5. When you die one day, you will merge with existence in a profound union of Infinite Love. And you will be able to stay there for eternity if you want. So what’s the rush? If you are on this planet right now, it’s probably because you want to explore all the possibilities of distortions in duality, which may include falling in love a woman. What do you really desire deep inside?
  6. Let′s suppose that you were able, every night to dream any dream you wanted to dream. And that you could, for example, have the power within one night to dream 75 years of time. Or any length of time you wanted to have. And you would, naturally, as you began on this adventure of dreams, you would fulfill all your wishes. You would have every kind of pleasure you could conceive. And after several nights of 75 years of total pleasure each, you would say, "Well, that was pretty great". But now let's, um, let's have a surprise. Let′s have a dream which isn′t under control. Where something is gonna happen to me that I don't know what it′s gonna be. And you would dig that and would come out of that and you would say. "Wow, that was a close shave, wasn't it?". Then you would get more and more adventurous. And you would make further and further-out gambles as to what you would dream. And finally, you would dream where you are now. You would dream the dream of living the life that you are actually living today. That would be within the infinite multiplicity of choices you would have. Of playing that you weren′t God. Because the whole nature of the godhead, according to this idea, is to play that he is not.
  7. Hey @Leo Gura what would you say your current sober level of consciousness is? Like if 0 is deep sleep, 10 normal waking state, 1 million is 5meo; where can you reach maximum while sober? How would you interact with other people that are at a much higher level of consciousness at your retreat?
  8. Beauty is the present moment. If you can get fully present with no thoughts, you will feel the infinite Beauty that is always present in this moment. (although this is mostly in the background when you are in a low “normal” state of consciousness. Increasing the consciousness and the ability to stay present is key)
  9. Ego’s desires, when fulfilled, never give you full satisfaction. What you thought would make you happy, in realty leaves you somewhat empty. There is always chasing the next thing. The only thing that can fully, infinitely satisfy you is God’s Love. And that requires complete selflessness, no ego. Which is exactly what the ego doesn’t want to hear, and it will invent all kinds of self deceptions, like OP is doing.
  10. Thanks for sharing! Would wakefulness-promoting drugs (especially modafinil, but also caffeine, nicotine, etc.) be then useful for this work? How do you go about using these?
  11. But God isn’t just the absolute, it’s Absolute Infinity which includes also the relative right? As Leo often points out You are God in this moment, you just think you are limited to your body. But when you die (which could be in 50, 100 or infinite years) you will always go back to Absolute Infinity and be able to choose the next life, so the length of the current one doesn’t really matter. Actually, imagine all you’d be able to achieve if you had 500 years to live in perfect health.
  12. But from God’s pov, where there is no time, infinite experiences already exist all simultaneously. How could you lose something?
  13. An interesting perspective: death is just the result of physical disease in the body (if we rule out incidents or getting shot) which is preventable and will probably be solved in the near future thanks to advanced AI. Let's say someone chooses to stop aging and live forever, would there be anything wrong with that? Why wouldn't they? From God's infinite perspective, that would just happen to be a longer, potentially infinite (although a lesser order of infinite) incarnation, which wouldn't exclude the others.
