  1. The mind and the thing itself are interconnected.
  2. Thoughts are not a problem. It’s actually the suppression of thoughts that is.
  3. That’s precisely the problem. I’m starting to realize that getting rid of undesirable parts of reality is a serious trap. Confronting uncomfortable truths about yourself is critical; it’s not going to be pretty whatsoever. But what’s the alternative? Spending the next 30 years living with delusions?
  4. Yup, that’s the whole point of this actualized work, and always has been from the very start.
  5. Is being abducted by aliens wrong? I legit just had an experience of being abducted by them. They transported me to an alternate timeline and dimension. I only experienced this briefly because of how radical it was. It’s actually your own doing when you convince yourself that something is “wrong” or “awful”.… that’s literally what’s preventing you from exploring CONSCIOUSNESS any further.
  6. The aliens said that you can love humans more effectively when you yourself transcend being a human ?
  7. It’s false in the sense that you have a fixed and extremely narrow view on how reality should be. When you realize you’re GOD, all Self-Deception is GOD’S CREATION.
  8. I just had a pretty vivid hallucination of being abducted by an alien UFO and hearing aliens transmitting their language into me. Now that’s acting!!
  9. Who defines Self-Deception? You, of course! To what degree is the real question.
  10. This reminds me of an old therapist of mine. At the beginning of one of our sessions. I noticed that she was talking as if she lost her voice. She explained to me that she actually came back from a retreat. She went to one where they did a bunch of screaming and yelling. I suppose the point was to let out suppressed emotions. Perhaps you’re interested in trying that? The second option might be laughing yoga.
  11. You indirectly answered my question as well, thanks!
  12. It’s not that nobody cares, it’s you that doesn’t care. Contemplate that one!
  13. Haha, yeah. The older generation can be challenging when it comes to new ideas. But in any case, nobody wants to willingly question their identity if they hold strongly to it!
  14. @Ulax Any tips on how to meditate while dealing with pain? I’ve been exploring feeling into the pain rather than suppressing it, but it’s very challenging.
  15. I can relate to this (I’m also the youngest child). I’m actually in the process of getting family therapy started. Perhaps you can try that with your family? Good luck trying to get them to agree, though
  16. GOD is Infinite Self-Deception. GOD is Infinite Self. GOD is Infinite. GOD is. GOD. .
  17. Perhaps trying to empty ourselves of… ourselves was never the right approach to begin with. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It’s also interesting you mention yet another mental layer. If reality is infinite, then surely the amount of mental layers are also infinite. It’s kinda like if you wash your hands and convince yourself that they’re 100% clean, yet as soon as you touch something they’re gonna not be 100% clean again. So is the solution to keep washing your hands every time you touch something? I’d hope not.
  18. I’ve found that when I don’t stand up for myself and let other people run the show, I essentially surrender my own autonomy and let everyone else make decisions for me. This may work in the short-term, but in the long-term it has made me weak. I had a very long period of blaming the world for all my problems, and it’s something I’m still working on. People are very good at sneakily corrupting your mind, and it’s your full responsibility to not fall for or give into their games. You should not expect others to snap out of their delusions, but you certainly can snap out of your own. That’s when you’ll begin to see the world and yourself profoundly different. You will move mountains while everyone else is kicking stones.
  19. For the love of GOD, there is NOBODY but YOU. YOU either accept this, or continue living in delusion. Much Love
  20. I’ve done ketamine 7 times. There were a couple moments where it did get out of this world intense; I imagine that’s what is meant by Alien Insane.
  21. Also from GPT-4 : @Ulax I miss those zany thumbnails!
  22. @bensenbiz Have you ever tried psychedelics before? That’s definitely a powerful way to face yourself. Also, there have been many times I’ve been nice to others, when actually that was just a coping mechanism done out of fear. It’s important to be aware of the mechanism of your behaviors, rather than over simplifying and having these rules for yourself, such as “I have to be nice in order to be happy” or “I can only surround myself with high conscious people”. GPT-4 gives further guidance on how coping mechanisms can have negative consequences: The above statement ties in well with why Leo is opposed to dogmatic teachings, such as Buddhism, which present an incomplete picture of how and what reality should be. When you try to force reality to be a certain way, you’re bound to be stuck in delusion, no matter how logically sound it sounds.
