  1. i think it is useful to break 'know' into 3 types, eg take the topic of love

    -i know about love

-i know the ins and outs of love

    -i know love

first is explaining, second is experiencing, third is embodying

the mystics are saying set aside the explaining and experiencing in order to reside in the non dual state of embodying

in which knowing is ... being

i think this helps me understand what it means to know nothing

just sharing some thoughts i had today, namaste

  2. e.g.o = eyes generating outside

the eyes are the ego, the filter through which you see the world

if you have out of body experience, you can look directly at your body and note that you see perfectly well without your eyes

so eyes are the conditioning you impose on the world

eyes do not give truth ... two people can look at the same dress and see it as a different color

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_dress

however from the consciousness of internal spirit we will see the same everything

? Realizing not only that your thoughts mean nothing, but that they are the enemy of Self-realization, is the beginning of wisdom. Nothing can be known, and nothing needs to be known. It sounds cliche, but it really is about being. Hope you enjoy the book, bro!

my take on descartes = i think because god is

therefore i the thinker think an illusory world into existence ... if i put aside said thinking, i would merge with god and see the world as it really is

    furthermore, i know nothing

all knowledge implies a known object, but there is no object which is separate from me, there is only the subject, and so i really do know nothing

enlightenment means when projection / knowledge is replaced by reflection / love

to know in the biblical sense is to love

it was in Eden where Adam first knew Eve

    namaste x

  4. 1.

ego is the false belief, i am a separate being ... it is how most of us operate ... shed the ego and oneness is achieved

    2.

if ego is shed, there is no "my" body any longer, the body is then part of the whole oneness

    3.

ego not shed, then i like "my" body thank you very much and will attach to it with every fiber of my being

  5. what i would say about meditation is, whatever the mind tells you is a complete lie ... meditation after all is its death sentence

this is not for most of course but for me for almost a year i force meditate for 4 hours / day ... and each day becomes little easier and better and richer

mind still tells me hey slack off a few days buddy but mostly i do keep on with it

i like very much what you said about breathing, this is all i do when i meditate, just breathe as beautifully as i can

The idea of sin is egoic. It attaches people to a false identity as "sinner", and creates suffering, which only binds them further. I know this one well. Conversely, it attaches people to a false identity as "saint", and creates false superiority, which only binds them further.

@Preety_India described karma beautifully. It is not about any sense of identity, but simply the accumulation of personality, as the result of that personality's expressions. Every personality is constantly evolving, based on how it interacts with other forms. The more loving it becomes, the more free it is, until ultimately it sublimates to reunion with its Source.

suffering identity normalised, take each first letter

i got this from your post

    namaste :)

I feel that awakening is just the first step of the enlightenment journey. Realizing yourself as Consciousness is beautiful, but there is still so much deconditioning to be done. This is a gradual process, but it too is beautiful.

I wrote this yesterday and wanted to share it here:

    ***

    The Bonfire

Consciousness strikes the spark of my undoing,
Catching in the kindling of thought,
    Consuming it to soot, intensifying,
Crumbling the timbers that it wrought,
    Purifying fire ever rising,
Burning through the ropes of my desire,
Devouring the karma of my making,
Soul wind stirring these flames higher,
Scattering the ashes of my suffering,
No illusion left, only the fire.

g.r.a.c.e = god realized and completely embodied
