  1. But do I want to be changed? Nah I don't thanks. And nor does the world want changing. When I wake in the morning, my one mission is to not change. I plead with the world at large to corroborate me, validate me, love me as I am. Reason is I am doing good as I am, right? And I definitely don't want to confront the nagging existential terror of confronting who I actually might be thanks. Please continue to dig me deeper into this ever more mind-blowing reality and whatever you do, don't change one thing. I'll do likewise for you. Deal!
  2. My take on this if I may is as follows. The journey is, to put it in basic terms most have some inkling of, Jesus to Christ to HS to God. Jesus is you as word made flesh, Christ is doing the change of identity work, HS is then becoming the whole manifest reality that you see through forgiveness, and God is having done this opening up and merging with the unmanifest reality. And forgiveness means, to walk around and notice whenever not at peace - to withdraw interpretation and ask HS for a better one knowing well I am never unhappy for the reason I think.
  3. Form is the same as finitude is the same as flawed is the same as fearful and that to me is about as incongruous to the absolute perfection as can be. Certainly the absolute is happy to yield to such suffering states but seems this would not be the norm but an anomaly, a hypothetical hallucination or a bad nightmare if you will. Everything is possible but happiness is the default in contrast to what one gets here.
  4. Would you not agree from the absolute perspective that form is a distinct choice? And of course a choice needs a chooser right? The absolute need not opt for form since to deny it such power would place a limit. Form is suffering, a most ill-advised choice no? So dance all you please but one day you will have had enough.
  5. I suggest you to consider that God has no interest in the corruptible and the decaying. Why would it? Form is an attempt at escape. Separation is impossible except in a wild imagination. Why prefer a lower state to a higher state? Death is not real. So embrace life. And let's skip out of this silliness.
  6. Form is one-massive-eff-up, in case you have not yet noticed in your lifetimes of suffering! Consciousness likewise is a descent into madness and badness, a wholly retarded hamstrung state. Suffering is God's mess-up, God's mulligan, God's misadventure. God doesn't want you here in this hell and you can exit any time. That's why we term it an illusion; it is nothing compared to what's available right now and God long since washed its hands of this insanity even if you are still clinging to the prospect of a nice dream. God is certainly allowed this mistake and I am that bless me. The difference between me and the omniscient God is its mistakes are one and done while mine are stubbornness to the bone. One day I will definitely be a contender as the famous movie line reminds. For sure God is allowed an egregious experiment since God is indeed every avenue and every outcome. However unlike me, it tries stuff and then lives by once bitten twice shy. 1st law of God: All fuck-ups are finite and fixable and forever forsaken. Which is why - news flash - the universe is a huge ticking time bomb careening towards annihilation. So best to wake tf up and get real. (The book The Disappearance of the Universe echoes these musings for those who have read it.)
  7. Most people will do anything they feel they can get away with, ethics or no ethics. Spiritual work involves learning that you only ever hurt yourself.
  8. I'm a landlord among other things and people use any excuse in the book to not pay rent. I have to be a hard-arse.
  9. Def agree when it comes to personal relations. In the impersonal sphere, it's each man for himself. If I can get a leg up, I will. There are no friends in business.
  10. Distribution of wealth is arbitrary, destructive, capricious. On the other hand, personal enrichment, while not directly causing harm, in order to make oneself invulnerable is virtue. For the first time you are no man's slave. This is the ideal start point for spirituality. You seem to be making a case for a belief in karma. Isn't that self deception?
  11. Most of us if we could have a million right now, victimless crime no consequences, would take it. I wouldn't. All my needs are accounted for until I breathe my last, shower sheets shelter. I'd return the loot since they need it more. I am the incorruptible outlier in every million. However if I needed it, of course I will consider today a day god heard my prayer. No qualms, no regrets. Dog is allowed to eat dog but can't get near god.
  12. You came here to try out separation and isolation by building walls and fleaing into solitude. It is misery. Reason is, it is impossible. Your task is to re-graft yourself back onto the wholeness that you actually are. You see everyone as flawed and fearsome, No. You are wrong. Your perspective needs to change. They need forgiving. That's how you get healing. Everyone is you carrying out scripts that you gave them to try to pretend you all have separate interests. You don't. You have a shared interest. Returning to unity and happiness. You cannot exclude anyone else you have excluded everyone, just like you feel about yourself right now.
  13. You are a lower self to the extent you block a higher self. More importantly and conversely. All a non-dual continuum. If I look at you and see God every word you speak will be from God. Here is a classroom or a prison. Up to me.
  14. Consciousness is God splitting itself into pieces, because that is one possibility to try out. It's a dead end, a bridge to nowhere, a day-trip to hell. God stands for, g-otten o-ver d-reaming present company notwithstanding.
  15. You imagining a distinction between the Absolute and Consciousness, is suffering My experience of their sameness is not a perception but a release and a taste of Heaven, a place where no distinctions remain. If they are truly the same, the goggles of consciousness, that which makes differences seem real, is no longer needed and let go of.
  16. The absolute doesn't need consciousness to be aware of itself. How could it? It's absolutely one. Consciousness is of dreams.
  17. You either see others as strangers or siblings. Which means at any moment, you are in the former case giving in order to take or in the latter case giving in order to receive since you and I are one blood. People will only change when you change. See heaven or hell. Your choice. Let's meditate a bit longer brother.
  18. Everyone here is spell-binding wonderment, life-changing love, unspeakable beauty, staggering intelligence, impish innocence. I mustn't love some folk some times but all folk all times. Everyone I see is the missing link without which I am a complete incomplete mess. You are all, you are now, you are fam, you are me, you are one, you are the only God I see You dear love are my only passage out of here.
  19. Is there good religion? Wait, can anyone even define religion? Am I too good for religion? Am I too bad for religion? Like Woody Allen says, I would never belong to any religion that takes people like me as members. Perhaps I am just an arrogant lazy selfish person who wants to feel smart and not get on my hands and knees and say sorry for being a life-long fuck-up.
  20. Religion is the halfway point between spiritualism and materialism. It's a start. Nothing to do with intelligence. You can be bright. You can be dumb. What religion says is maybe my ego is not so good after all. And I better follow something better.
  21. Yes it's random, insufferable and incomprehensible and that's why it needs to be exited. God only deals in the perfect, the limitless, the oneness. We can make the leap. We are just making a crappy reality in our own minds. Or I should say we are painting over the true reality with a crappy substitute. Much better is in store and awaits us.
  22. Good. So you seem to infer that the absolute is more preferred, more powerful, more perfect that this shabby relative universe where starved and rabid parasites come to live and die. What I am pointing towards here is the work to shift between the one and the other. What you are doing does resonate with me and I think our approaches are reconcilable. Truth is truth. I am the whole not just a part of it.
