  1. This thread made me appreciate my gf a lot more.
  2. To improve your life if you see the changes caused by mindfulness as a benefit. You can argue anything is a waste of time. But wait what time is there to waste??
  3. You assumed I was making assumptions about you It was was just advice since you brought up anxiety as some reason. That if you decide to run away from it it'll hurt you in the long run.
  4. Thats the point if you want it to be. There is no point actually though. The only point you could say is for it to exist.
  5. Do this method because you feel it will lead you to be the best you not to run away from your own mental issues. Would you still do this if you had no social anxiety and survived fine even thrived in regular living conditions?
  6. Is the company in it to meet arbitrary goals or to stay in the game as long as possible? Don't want the game to end up like the other dead companies.
  7. Yep A woman being attractive or not decides whether I even bother to approach her in romantic interest. But personality can make me find somebody more attractive. So sometimes its a catch-22 unless we just happen to become friends first.
  8. The higher you go the more profound it can be, but please do go up incrementally. The higher the dose the more energy you'll have to put in into handling the trips. I didn't ego death until my first and only 1000ug trip. It was intense and took a lot for me to handle I saw things I couldn't comprehend. It's not for the faint of heart and the risk for larger doses is higher. What it showed me is I had a lot of mental resistance to such insights I had to brute force it. If I were you if less than 500ug isn't doing it for you I'd put more effort into deconstructing the mind and meditation. The further you get along with this the less lsd it should take for such insights or even ego death to come to you. Also if you can, watch a sunset with clear view on lsd. It will be a beautiful experience for you. It blew my mind.
  9. Everything that I have figured out I accept. There's nothing to justify. If you have something against ignorance, look into that. It can definitely be bliss though for the ego.
  10. It's an alright analogy for people who cling to the concept of souls. But seeing it any further than that might hinder your understanding of nonduality.
  11. +1 to this I used to be the same way but then I found myself getting into communities of people who were very "high status" by the community they were a part of. Really helped to relax and treat high status people just like people.
  12. I have a friend who actually enjoys his HPPD haha says the world looks far more vibrant and interesting that way. He would even trip just to bring back the symptoms.
  13. Sounds like a minor version of HPPD. But HPPD is more chronic. Its a risk you'd have to take but such occurrences are pretty rare compared to the amount of people who do psychedelics. I've probably had 30+ trips at the age of 20 with my highest doses being 1500ug and came out with no side effects.
  14. He was talking about after the trip. You never said what you mean by flashback. What is a flashback? You won't re-experience you tripping while sober. I'd say worst case you might encounter a tracer or 2 that resembles a trip or some odd color contrast. If you are talking about HPPD which is rare, thats a different story.
  15. Does the world need saving? There's no saving to do. Goals and careers are just here to play the game while we are here. Don't take it too seriously.
  16. To find what works for you. 500ug lsd + 300mg DXM did more for me than even 1.5mg of LSD ever did. I always gave dissociatives and psychedelics an interesting duality. Where dissos represented more of death and nothingness and psychedelics more of life and somethingness and mixing them felt like I was in control of a boat to sail the infinite seas.
  17. Just because a model like science is very surface level doesn't mean it doesn't have its uses. The model basically is predicting direct experiences from direct experiences.
  18. @Aaron p He's basically saying that everything you think and do is a reflection of yourself. If I call someone a horrible person for doing drugs are they actually a horrible person or is that a reflection of what I like and don't like in a person? You evaluate the world by the standards you either created or were given/programmed. Or consider a situation where a person gets angry about one thing and another person doesn't. They must be living by different standards for this to be. So then you realize all opinions and standards are relative. And this is how you shape your own reality.
  19. Every now and then. I like to experience and grow before I go watching more videos.
  20. @Emerald There is a word game going on here. He's playing on the nonduality of oneness. That reality is an all encompassing term for everything. There can only be 'multiple realities' if you create illusory distinction. So therefore it is actually all one singular reality. But of course when you say multiple realities people are more referring to a section of the singular reality where its rulesets behave differently.
  21. Also consider the words should/should not
  22. It is choosing what external circumstances affect you.
  23. It is carved out in all ways. There is no possibility infinity has no covered. How much you can explore depends on which possibility you reside in. From an ego view.
  24. Death of the ego or death of the human body? If you mean of the human body, then consider that you are already enlightened. Remember that you are simultaneously dead and alive. Death doesn't change what you already are.
