Death and enlightement

Is death the quickest, fastest way to be god (awaken) completely out of a finite form? Why do many pursue enlightenment in other ways?

Death of the ego or death of the human body?

If you mean of the human body, then consider that you are already enlightened. Remember that you are simultaneously dead and alive.

Death doesn't change what you already are.

If you physically kill yourself, all that will happen is you will change forms into something else. But you will still be here: nowhere, nowhen, nothing, now.

You cannot escape yourself. Ever.

Think of it this way: you've already killed yourself a million times. Which brought you to this life you're in right now.

The conventional idea of death is a folly.

What is it that really dies? The body?

But isn't this flesh doll already dead?

What is conventionally regarded as death ain't death at all. The only way to understand the full import of the word death is to wake up.
