@Tetcher she could be suffering from generational trauma.

Slavery was long ago. Doesn't mean modern generation black people don't carry the scars and trauma

What would happen if we didn't teach history in schools and black people wouldn't know about slavery, would they still carry the scars and trauma ? And in any case most people can't know whether they are descending from a slave unless some genealogical tree was made, maybe they are descending from a family that remained free.

@ryanth you keep making new accounts to say that Palestinians were offered x% of the land and they refused. If that was true then the Jews would have taken (100-x)% and stuck to it, but we've seen over the decades is that they kept expanding, settling illegally and discriminating. Beside a more fundamental question is that the Palestinians where already on that land so why should they accept even 1% ?

@cookiemonster I was commenting very superficially to the video. Yes I maybe a bit ignorant on the Gaza conflict issue, but his outrageous reaction, almost screaming from the top of his lungs doesn't help his case

What caused my trigger happy reaction was calling the woman's tears crocodile tears when she could be genuinely distressed and using words like"holocaust card" is very offensive and can easily be interpreted as downplaying the sufferings of Jews.

And a lot of racist people come up with defenses like "I've a black friend, or I could be associated with blacks," however such justifications do not make the actions or comments less racist.

In this case, the guy should come from a place of respect if he wants the audience to take his point seriously. He is deliberately destroying his own cause by using language that is insinuating rather than pacifying.

So my trigger happy reaction kinda stays

Not a good candidate for making people understand the two sides better by disowning the sufferings of one side

She's a young student, world war 2 was over for 30-40 years before she was born. What is the suffering she went through that you are referring to ?

She was gaslighting the ongoing exactions of Israel with something she never experienced for herself and he called her out for her hypocrisy that's all. His strong emotion about it comes from the fact that his own parent were direct victims of holocaust so he's much closer from the "holocaust card" than her yet he can recognize the abuse that Israel is inflicting to Palestinians.

  3. You have to stop masturbation and porn watching, releasing energy that way is basically cheating (not even on the girl but on yourself) because you don't release this energy by expressing your truthful self in your relationship. With masturbation you basically release so you can act whatever in the relationship, but if you didn't masturbate your behavior in the relationship would be different and would naturally go in a direction that turns you on.

  4. In a way death is like a trip. If you stop breathing now you will go into the deepest meditative state which is effectively death of your body. The question is whether you will resist that moment in which case it will be painful or not resist in which case the experience will be that of bliss. The question whether you die or not is a question of semantics. Yes the existence is eternal and undying, also yes when you leave human existence you will through an utmost personal and absolute experience, how you go through this is the whole point of spiritual work.

  5. What a strong and beautiful post, it's impressive that you managed to develop this mindset in such conditions. I'd say this :

    Quote

it's impossible they will agree and allow me to move out unless I have a strong reason like work or something they can't even say no to or by force

Work on finding that strong reason, you say you're soon graduating this means this should open some doors for you to find a job in a city no ?

@The0Self  what dose of LSD would you recommend? i have a lot of acid and i really want to experience realizing god. i'm thinking 400-500 mcg? it's 1p-lsd btw.

for a first time ? That seems like a lot, I would start with 100mcg and remember that the onset is 1h long so if you think nothing is happening don't take more

edit nvm I don't know about 1-p lsd

over 13.000 people killed, 1 million fled from their houses

Those who fled just left their houses. Into some of them the strangers have moved. The others just idle away. You cannot sell a house on the occupied territory where the shooting is  still going on

13k and 1M concern both sides, it's not only the anti-russian people but also pro-russian people. Crimea had a special administrative status as it was handed to Ukrainian SSR by USSR. Since legitimately elected president Viktor Yanukovych was removed with a coup I'd say that constituents had a claim to decide their faith. Crimea chose to join Russia and the latter supported its choice.

My question was more whether you were presently forced to live in a strip unable to become autonomous, bullied without means of resistance. I'm asking because I saw how heinously you speak of Putin so I sense some hypocrisy when you say that Ukrainian separatists would "never fire random rockets on the Russian side, if they did Russia would have all the rights to invade us". Russia had legitimate reasons to do what it did with Crimea and you don't seem too happy with it but you seem fine with Palestinian getting handled like livestock.

I can relate better than you think. Russia occupied my place of bith and annected Crimea. In Crimea they do exactly they same what Israellis do on the occupied pallestinian territory: they opress the ethnic residents of Crimea - tatars and move Russians to Crimea. So that this territory will be genuinely russian.

But I cannot imagine Ukrainian army firing rockets at Crimea´s cities (I mean cities not millitary bases). I would never never support it. Even if I knew that the rockets hit Russians moved to Crimea. To kick them off after Crimea gets back to Uktaine - yes, to kill them - no.

Is Putin stealing houses in Ukrain, building settlements and forcing the population into a narrow strip ?

  9. I agree that on some level, on the cognitive side, JP doesn't want to deconstruct his world view, even his religiosity is materialistic, blue as you call it. On another level I sense that he longs for a breakthrough, for an existentially juicy experience. I know because I was like him before psychedelics, in a way his answer about how not to turn nihilistic (in the video I linked) is the worst he could have given, that's precisely because of those materialistic reasons that one is turning nihilistic. If he experienced his soul his shell would crack. Someone called him bitter in this forum, he's so bitter. But he's too invested in the world, he's a family man, he has his reputation, his following, liberating him is going to be so hard, psychedelics could do it if anything. Instead of seeking transformation after his benzo crisis he did everything he could to retain his psychology and he seemingly succeeded (which may have been the better move but he's still trapped).

He is interested in psychedelics to a certain extent. For example, using psychedelics to heal from trauma. Yet he isn't interested in using psychedelics to fully deconstruct and transcend his mind to the point it can no longer be reconstructed back to the way it was. He is super attached and identified to his mental constructs.

JP wants to be in control of psychedelics as a tool within his construct of reality.

During his last Q&A video there was a video that is a great probe into his psychology : 59:24 Q: What is the best way to to avoid falling back into nihilistic behaviors and thinking? The way he answers the question is akin to Why keep living ?

His mind keeps thinking of materialist reasons as if there is nothing beyond. He didn't get a glimpse of the beyond but at some level he longs for it.

I'll have to call Leo out again, it's May 10th - soon to be nearly a month from the day you posted you were going to take the jab. Shouldn't the person that is advocating for the jab, be fully vaccinated by now? If anything, Leo should be the first one to take the vaccine, and not let us be guinea pigs.

I'm giving Leo a pass on that one because he experimented many drugs on himself (psychedelics, detox protocols etc) and reported to the community, but that doesn't mean he should be too vocal pro-vaxxer or shaming and banning other opinions.

It is never enough to just do a psychedelic. What really matters is whether one is eager to deconstruct one's reality. And obviously JP is not eager to do that. So psychedelics will be threatening to such a mind.

    Psychedelics are JP's kryptonite.

He is interested, he just didn't have the breakthrough needed to understand what spirituality is about so his mind can only consider materialist meanings of life.
