  1. Whatever is happening is being imagined. If imagination stops then it's like turning off the TV. Then consciousness is at rest as Nothingness.
  2. Yes, but we have to grab a handle on reality somehow to speak about it. Of course I'm speaking of the past, and of causation, and of genetics as relative things.
  3. There are many factors. Infinite factors. Who you are right now is dependent on an infinite chains of causes which stretch back to the beginning of the universe and beyond. Simple genetics certainly plays a role. To awaken you had to be born a human and not a kangaroo. That's genetics. And every human has unique genetics. Some humans can add up giant numbers in their mind instantly, faster than a calculator. Why? They have unique wiring for that.
  4. Unconditional love is impossible for a finite being with any sense of self. But with that said, you can still love a lot more than you presently do. So don't throw in the towel just because human love can't be perfect.
  5. But seriously. Reality is only one thing. LOVE You will not find a higher realization.
  6. Consider the possibility that perhaps the highest expression of Love never mentions it by name at all. Imagine a Love so selfless that it doesn't even name itself.
  7. Both. I think he was born exceptionally advanced and talented. And then on top of that he practiced obsessively for over 10,000 hours. World-class masters usually are a combination of both. They have extraordinary natural talent, the perfect genetics for the task at hand, and then obsessive practice for decades. It takes all these things to line up to become world-class in a thing. Everything has to be aligned perfectly.
  8. @The observer Stop assuming that everyone is wired the same. There is enormous range in how people's brains/minds are wired. Highly spiritual people have special wiring. This is absolutely the case. They are not like normies. A normie can meditate for 20 years and get nowhere. A spiritually talented person can meditate for one weekend and have an awakening. That's the harsh reality no spiritual teacher will tell you.
  9. I don't know. I don't think he's missing it. I think he's playing coy. He is a sly fox. He's also not the most emotionally expressive person. He's somewhat autistic from what I heard. His style is more cold and Zen. So you don't get overt love feelings from him. But he is a very loving man in his own way. It's a masculine sort of love. Not sappy or sugary.
  10. @Skin-encapsulatedego Ralston has super-human concentration abilities so I think he takes for granted that you do too. He sometimes talks about concentration so hard you can burn a hole through a log. That's what it takes to break through sober.
  11. @r0ckyreed Research books on channeling. Tons have been written.
  12. No. If anything, deepen your relationships and bond more. But also do consciousness work, and fold it into your relationship. Spirituality deepens relationships.
  13. That should be good enough. Look, in the end, you're not gonna prepare yourself for 5-MeO-DMT. It will be A LOT for anyone.
  14. I have seriously considered it. But Iceland is a pain to fly to from the US.
  15. Love it! Someone needs to create a Waldo meme where Waldo is sitting holding one of his books looking for himself in the book
  16. If you became addicted to 5-MeO-DMT it would auto-correct as your next trip would force you to confront your addiction. 5-MeO-DMT is pure consciousness, and consciousness will not let you skate by with all your addictions intact. You will be forced to confront anything which is holding you back from being God. If 5-MeO-DMT itself starts to hold you back, you will realize that and let it go.
  17. Start where you are. Start by loving your life. There's no rush to mahasamadhi. Enjoy the journey. Yes
  18. Yes, I've had many realizations while half-asleep or fully asleep. It's actually easier than being awake because the ego-mind is disabled during sleep.
  19. It's still proper to call it God. A Christian can have legit God experiences. They are just partial, not total. There is God relative to a Christian. There is God relative to a Muslim. There is God relative to a Hindu. There is God relative to Leo. There is God relative to Sadhguru. There is God relative to an alien. Etc. God is the sum total of all that, and infinitely more.
