The Desert

I have recently made a trip on camelback to the Rajasthani desert and spent the night out there in the dunes.

WOW.

Sitting on the sand and listening to - or rather becoming one with - the silence of the desert (yes, you can actually hear the silence there) is truly something else. It puts you into direct contact with the divine emptiness of the cosmos and tunes you into the everlasting 🕉 which is the source and substance of everything.

Now I know why Yeshua spent 40 days and nights there.

I had a similar experience in a Greek island called Methana. We visited a volcano there and the whole atmosphere was something else. I couldn't put into words but yeah, I could also 'hear' the silence there and everything was vibrant and still at the same time. I could've meditated for days there.

Sure, I have in mind that as soon as it's hot I'm going to go to the desert, 4 hours driving from my house, and spend a night on LSD in the middle of the immensity
