Why cant i send people messages, and why can people message me with even less posts than i have?

Multiple times throughout the day I cannot post or comment for hours here is an example https://i.postimg.cc/CL78L9xf/Screenshot-from-2025-12-04-16-26-02.png  the (type field is simply not there) and goes missing.

It happens sometimes during the middle of a conversation and I lose my flow, and by the time i can message or reply to someone the energy is gone and the flow is lost.

I try message someone: You are only allowed to send 0 messages per day. Please try again later.

or: You have reached your posting limits. Please wait 24 hours and try again.

Its putting me off the forums entirely.

You are a relatively new member. All new member accounts have posting and messaging limits to prevent abuse.

Your limits will be increased with time as your account ages.

The messaging system gets abused a lot, so these limits were put in place.

@AerisVahnEphelia  I wish to ask to an AI artist. How is AI art your art, "made by you"?
As an artist myself, right now I perceive AI art as ordering food, like

I go to an app,
I order food
Someone else cooks the food
It gets delivered to my home

I cannot call myself a Chef,
because I never cooked, used a stove or used a pan, never stirred the food in the cooking pot

Similarly,
I go to an app
I type in some prompts
An algorithm creates the art
It gets delivered to my PC

Can I call myself an artist?
because I never used a pen/stylus, I never used a drawing pad, I did not used my hands to draw/paint

A disclaimer,  I do not disregard the quality of the art which was created, furthermore I do not intend to diminish your efforts in any way. I genuinely wish to ask how and why do AI artist consider a generative art as art created by themselves. I tried to share my thought process of how I cannot see as AI art as Art created. I am open to change that perspective if there is a reasoning behind it.

You're saying this because you’ve no clue how to make videos or do things with AI.
Try to make a video with it and you’ll see for yourself if your words stand.

“Leo’s video is just a guy speaking to a camera”
kind of how I see your critic.

It would be more accurate to call me a chef. I don’t create the ingredients, but I do the mixing, and I’m the one who decides on the temperature and the cooking techniques.

I like directing, and I did a lot of art to understand the limitations and to improve my competency in managing.

Honestly I don't give a shit how people want to call me.

But for the record, a movie director usually does not do the acting, not even the script or scenario, neither taking the shots nor finalizing the montage. ( I don't do that much yet, the tech is not there to my taste )

It depends what you do. When I do my own story, my own shots, my own montage, mix a music, design the character idea, block in the shot from my own idea, and direct what happens in the animation, I do in fact way more than them in another way or just as much.
(The music here is all AI-generated by me too, but thought to mix with the overall piece.)

overall the "I m the artist" fantasy shall be shattered if you take enough LSD.

@danniel you're basically asking

'What is art?'

Which is a huge question open to multiple perspectives, nuance. And not easily answered 😁

What @AerisVahnEphelia does, in my perspective (as a fellow artist, just using a different medium), is definitely art. Directing and prompting, composing.

It might be good to look at some of the greatest artists like Andy Warhol - the art he produced prompted this sort of discourse in droves. And it might be worth it to note there is definitely such a thing as a 'higher' perspective of art. As well as a 'lower'.

@Thought Art I love it. You look like the music is coming through you. No room for mind. No room for thinking. Just pure expression and 'being' state of flow.

It is far easier to trick someone, than to convince them they have been tricked.

Then how come people with less posts than me can message me but I cannot? Or post count does not matter?

And so that disappearing text box is normal not a bug? Sometimes it doesn't happen all day, sometimes it happens very often.

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance ~ of a unified mystery...
