@Davino You make some good points. A trial for martial arts training would be a good idea to run and measure the results of its effectiveness.

The typical cop gets 21 weeks of training in the US before partoling.

How many weeks of training would learning martial arts require? This is an interesting question. I have no idea.

It's very fascinating to see people on the lower end of the IQ scale, and how they operate in society. Their lives are dedicated to satisfying the reptilian part of their brain with pleasure, getting revenge on their enemies, etc... No sense of higher life purpose, or even any religious intuition.

I've encountered a lot of shady people whilst attending High School, particularly the kids from Baltimore (City). As well as my College is located in Baltimore County, so I've seen my fare share of shady people. 

For some people, negotiations, dialogue, and compromise doesn't ~register~ in their minds, and they tilt their heads like confused dogs. Violence is the only understandable language. This would explain why so many countries have such brutal dictatorships. Or are governed by strict Shariah code/law, or tribal code, such as in the case of Afghanistan.

 

 

But the real challenge is introspecting, and seeing in the many ways in which I personally act like these people. All the people I obsess about getting revenge on, all the times I just pig out on pleasures, my intense desires for carnal pleasures, my judgements, hatred, and demonizations of others, all the lies that I tell to others and myself, and all the delusional beliefs I cary. If it weren't for Actualized.org, parenting, and education, I would be just like them.

May I ask why you have such a non-skeptical stance about the police? I never see you point out the deep issues with the police, almost exclusively defend them. Them having a monopoly over violence should make us very distrustful over them (when critizing and analysing their behaviour). The way you currently post about police makes it seem like you're perfectly fine with how the current usa police operates. We as citizens should be focusing on surveilling their behaviour skeptically. We are not the ones killing police.

I have watched like 50 hours of police arrest videos. 98% of the time the police are professional and kind to an extreme. Of course there are a few bad apples, but the videos speak for themselves.

This thread and these videos are not about defending or attacking police. This is an apolitical topic.

I support rooting out corruption anywhere it is found, including inside the police. But otherwise I support giving the police better tools and support for doing their job. I will not engage in any kind of demonization of the police. The police are more surveiled than any other public servant, so I don't know what your gripe is. I suggest you don't politicize this issue.

When I share videos in this thread it is not for political purposes.

To be fair, he only reacted that way after they tasered him quite violently.

Yes, he was resisting, but I didn't get the sense he was going to shoot at them until they pissed him off by tasering him so bad. From his POV it was self-defense. Of course he was wrong but I understand where he was coming from. I felt the tasing was excessive. If you taser a bear long enough he will claw at you.

I also think the cops made a mistake by not asking him if he had any guns in the car. That could have saved  them. Hard to say.

We as citizens should be focusing on surveilling our own criminal behaviors also. Yes, there are crooked cops, but there are crooked everybody everywhere, including crooked crooks. Get off that surveilling cop behaviors stuff, ley's do that when appropriate, not make it into a crusade. Let's start crusading for citizens using guns inappropriately and just shooting and taking lives whenever they feel like it.

They could have been less aggressive.

Being too aggressive pisses people off and drives them into a rage. From that rage comes very bad behavior.

I think you are wrong Leo! When you are at the dentist you don't shoot at him if he takes out a bad tooth. The same way you don't shoot at a police officer after you drive like a lunatic and refuse for half an hour to get out of the car. Bears should be caged or live in the mountains not in a society. If I had a magic wand I would unalive all the people who behave violently towards others, who shit on the sovereignity of others, who give zero fucks about the lives of others, who are here only to prey and to exploit the defenseless people, I would anihilate everyone who does harm to others who steals or violate the life of any being be it animal or human. I would unalive all their offsprings aswell because I've never seen a garbage human birth a child that didn't inherit all their genetic devilry from their father. Those people have no right to be on this earth. NONE. Devils place is in hell not here on earth.
