Why do progressive cities fail?

How would you classify NYC? Is it Orange-Green? Or is it more pure Orange?

California isn't pure Green, it's more like Orange-Green.

Yeah, well, LA is a very Orange-Green town. More Orange than Green. If you want more hippie Green vibes, check out Oregon.

I remember you saying in your stage Yellow vid that Yellow is a balance between stages Orange and Green. So, wouldn’t that make California Stage Yellow?

But the actual material conditions of the city did not reflect the ideals they purported. There were homeless encampments on the side walk next to multi-million dollar homes. I even saw one homeless man holding a sign that said "God is Love."

These places attract more homeless because it's easier to be homeless there than other places -- simple incentive-driven human activity -- sounds rather like a relative failure of the rest of the cities to me.

Because almost all cities are progressive and/or democratic.

Some are bound to fail.

But most well performing cities are progressive/democratic too.

The real question is, why are there hardly any republican cities?
