How do you feel when you are laying under the stars or seeing deep space photographs

8 posts in this topic

Question for @Leo Gura, What insights arise when you experience outer space or when you look up at the sky and see your creation? Is there any particular emotions or connected feelings that are inherent to slightly bigger cosmic and specifically phenomena that consciousness is conceiving of. If you, Leo, Got the chance to look through a telescope would you not get struck with a deep mystery of how you are imagining that galaxy's structure into existence? Your human mind will most likely have a bias towards thinking a galaxy is more beautiful than a chair, Do you have this bias Leo?or do you have more experiences of chairs structure that make it a more comfortable imagination. Is there anything particularly beautiful about planets and stars to you that make that a more impressive existence than the limits of a chairs consciousness and form?

No there’s not. Both are ineffably beautiful. A chair can pull one into the infinite just as the cosmos can.

What I love in particular about stars, space, galaxies, etc., is the grandiosity they introduce into the heart-mind. We’re looking at a very overt physical manifestation of our true nature that is nearly impossible for the mind to distort, as it does with chairs, although materialists still manage to pull it off. The spaciousness, vast like emptiness we see as we stare into the cosmos, the beauty and intelligence we see when we stare at nebulas or galaxy clusters… It’s just a fractal of what’s going on in every direction, it’s pointing home, it’s a mirroring of within. But don’t forget, so is a chair :D

Why are you being so selective and directing this general question towards Leo only?

@Jakuchu Leo has a very polished head, makes it easier to use as a radar dish to collect universal truths.
