Leo what kind of chicken do you eat?

I'm curious about it.

Leo, do you eat from your local market or some special kind of organic chicken?

Would appreciate if Leo answered the question himself.

When I stick to very strict carnivore all my gut problems vanish like magic.

I have not killed off the bacteria yet, but at least I'm no longer feeding it. Once the bacteria has been weakened for a few weeks, I will hit it with a cocktail of antibiotics and hopefully that will kill it all off. That's the plan.

The only two things I eat at this stage is: chicken & salt. Nothing else!

@Michael569 what's the meaning of organic chicken?

Sorry I don't know much about all of this. I'm pretty dumb in that.

not being highly informed about a particular topic (e.g. does not make one dumb), intelligence or wisdom has nothing to do with knowing a lot of random facts ;)

"organic" should mean that the animal was not fed antibiotics, that the farmer had to adhere to certain standards, that the feed was coming from better quality sources and that the standard of living for these animals was generally better such as spending most of their time outdoor and being killed more humanely (I don't believe that last bit to be frank). But there are many ways to go around it so just because something is "organic" on the paper does not mean it is either super healthy or super clean. Large portion of this is marketing and there are many loopholes in the legislations regulation those certifications.

Thank you. That was in depth. Didn't know all that

Thank you :x

@Michael569 is there any chicken that's higher grade than organic chicken? Or that's the highest quality.

so from my understanding there are two kind of chicken in our market one is homegrown chicken- chickens we see gown in house holds it is beautiful to see with different colors. These chicken go all around house and properties and eat worms, small insects  get good sunlight, and are happy etc There eggs shells are brown in color. these chickens meat(bones) are really strong and hard for teeth to break. due to lack of space in house these days many people are putting these chickens in chicken coop without sending them outside and fed them corn and wheat.

Second kind is broiler chicken these chicken are generally used for meat and they grow very quickly like in 40 days or something cause of hormones injected antibiotics and corn fed.  some vareity of these chicken(layers) are used for laying eggs also which are white(shell) in color is produced in large quantity. Large no of chicken are raised like this in small area. chickens here doesnt have much space to move around. These chickens meat and bones are soft.

DOn't just buy it from the shelf in the supermarket. Either that or just be vegetarian or vegan

Great advice, because you surely personally know the people who grew your celery and exactly what pesticides they did or did not use while cutting corners around the 'organic' label.
