How does it feel right after an enlightenment experience?

25 posts in this topic

People have awakening "experiences", but enlightenment is something different. It is a journey, not a destination.

On awakening, it feels, in that moment, like the end of suffering. The more awake you are, the less you suffer, because you see reality truly.

Just because God loves you doesn't mean it is going to shape the cosmos to suit you. God loves you so much that it will shape you to suit the cosmos.

I don't think so, in my opinion  ,  it is just destroying mind patterns and putting them in right place so your being can show itself, you just think differently and experience differently because things that were before are gone, person is still there, but it is kind of impersonal, Enlightened people can be just deluded by their experience as others, difference they assume they know what is true based on their experience

It seems many here confuse awakenings with enlightenment. If you are freaking out, you still identify with character, play, manifestation, illusion.

The true self cannot experience 'freaking out' The true self is in all knowingness/all beingness with Creation Itself.

Awakening can Amaze you but Enlightenment is something entirely different, you already see it coming because you are already Enlightened.

Its like Waking up from the dream, the false-sense of self, back to your true state, its the most natural feeling/experience than anything else.

Challenging to explain with words.. but you will know, its unmistakable.

@Quantum Toad

The thing is as long as you hold enlightement as something you can achieve  then you talk about long lasting satori wich is still duality and you can and you will lose it. Everything dualistic is permanent.

But if you talk about enlightement  in a absolute sence then we are enlightened even before we achieve a dualistic concept of enlightement. In this sence enlightement is eternal.
