Magic mushrooms grew in man’s blood after he injected them as a tea

@4201 Will he escape the police is the question.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

Bad judgment call and what a horrible situation to endure, glad he recovered. It really highlights the opportunity for worldwide education around psychedelics. Hats off to the writer for getting that zinger in there at the end of the article in the true spirit of the topic.

The report is slightly misleading I suspect; the culture of the guys blood would most likely not have grown a Psilocybe species. More probable is something like Aspergillus, a fungus which contaminates many things including mushrooms.

Drug abuse is bad people; another example would be snorting cannabis resin. That is abuse! :D
