Does God Have A Black Heart?

5 posts in this topic

Secularists often ask the question "What kind of a God would allow so much cruelty in the world?" This is based on the assumption that a God would create a world that is benevolent only to a small aspect of its creation. Our pain and suffering may be illusory from a cosmic perspective, but it is difficult to detach from it because we are so close to it. Considering the infinite nature of what consciousness can experience, what is the purpose of this "self" inflicted suffering?

@Focus Shift Remember that you’re God, which means that it was you that created all the suffering. And the only reason you did, is because you wanted to. Stop externalising God. He is none other than yourself!

God cannot be stopped from being insane, that's it, don't know any limits.

Classic stage Green thinking, but still human-centric. Notice that humans don't care about the suffering of bacteria for example. In the game of survival, everyone is ruthless and selfish. And to advance this ruthlessness, we create biases as such. Human suffering in this case is just the suffering of not being able to spread more humans. Cruelty goes against spreading more humans. That's why it's so painful for a Green person. At Purple, it wasn't an issue, cuz survival for the fittest, tribal-centric. The greatest evil/suffering for a Purple person would be to harm someone from their tribe. Think revenge. But it's fine if you harm/kill all other beings, no problem whatsoever. And if you harm an opposing tribe, you are a friend and will be showered with love and appreciation.

Most psychological suffering is self-inflicted, cause of selfishness. Remove the self, and the suffering.

If you have no confidence in yourself, you are twice defeated in the race of life. But with confidence you have won, even before you start.” -- Marcus Garvey

In the game of karma, suffering is the engine. the evolution of life meant that to survive a living being had to kill another, and from there we live in this dance. We humans don't literally devour each other but we use each other ruthlessly. most humans are deeply unhappy even though they don't even know it, trapped in their unconsciousness. all beings are one who has a perfect plan, who is creating a constantly evolving tapestry. the suffering or happiness of one of its infinite manifestations is simply irrelevant as they do not exist as individual beings. it has the same importance as the fly larvae that do not survive. Happiness begins with the acceptance that you are not here to be perfectly happy but to do your part. the logical mind can analyze what it wants but it is limited. Your part could be impossible to understand . but Why? Because it's needed for the Evolution of karma. it's not you against god. you are god, the complete kosmos, dancing the dance of karma. if your mission is unpleasant ... that's how missions are, this is not an amusement park! once this is accepted, happiness is possible
