My experience with raw meat diet

What is commonly referred to as salmonella is when you get food poisoning and the body produces excessive amounts of salmonella to fight off the poison. Meat of a healthy animal (pasture-raised, no antibiotics, hormones, vaccines and so on) is perfectly safe to consume raw. Factory-farmed meat is more risky and if that's the best I can get then I cook it.

So far I've never got sick.

Your body does not produce salmonella, Salmonella is a genus of bacteria that are self-replicating, not produced by "your body". What people call food poisoning can refer to any number of things, but usually refers to bacterial infection from food consumed, which is usually some Salmonella or a dangerous strain of E. Coli, or possibly C. botulinum.

It's true that our guts contain certain healthy strains of E. Coli, and some species of Salmonella. But raw meat can absolutely carry dangerous strains of Salmonella that can make you sick. It's true that pasture raised animals will be far less likely to carry it. Chicken is especially risky to eat raw, especially if it's normal factory chicken, it will be loaded with Salmonella. I wouldn't eat raw chicken in any circumstance.

There are many parasites that raw meat can carry as well. Be careful with pork.

Risky business, and shitty for the planet. But it's your prerogative to eat in a selfish way.

How to get to infinity? Divide by zero.

Sadly it's unlikely that you are fixing anything, and what seems like a solution will be just more detrimental to you in the long run. As you continue to consume only meat, your gut biome will change. The already dysfunctional biome will grow more dysfunctional, as all bacteria who survive off of plant matter will die out. You will notice this in terms of the reaction towards the foods you were sensitive to increasing significantly. The bacteria that previously digested and broke down certain matter will cease to exist and your body will be unable to cope with them.

It is recommended to get your gut checked out by a specialist, the healing process will be long. I just hope you have not reached some point of no return due to your measures which might cause irreparable damage to your gut.

This situation is like if school made you stressful, and you skipped school. Now however going to school becomes even more stressful because you will be confronted about skipping school. So you continue to skip school to avoid the stress of being confronted. And it just grows worse and worse. You don't feel any stress, but you also can't go back to school anymore. If you will go back, what you will experience will be far worse than if you had just gone to the school.

The underyling problem of why school caused you stress was not even addressed at all, you just found a way to avoid it.

I've heard Joe Rogan talk about prions.

He says that they are only harmful to the same species. So humans can't eat human brain but can cows.

And they can't be destroyed with regular heat.

They put them at 1000 degrees for a few hours and it didn't kill them.

Brains of young animals are completely safe from prions. I usually eat veal brain.

@Village To me an important aspect of food is sharing and enjoying it together with people.

So, do you actually your meals like raw liver and brain? And how does this diet work in a social context?

How do people react when you eat at a restaurant and the waiter asks whether you'd like your steak medium or well-done and you say, "no need to roast it at all, I'll have it raw"?

I don't eat out much, but I'll just order a rare steak. I guess I'll have to be picky about the place, just like a vegan. ;)

How does it work in a social context? For example, a bunch of girls asked me to bring raw meat to work and show them that I actually eat it. So I did, and they started screaming all over the place. It's good fun. xD

The underlying problem in the analogy you presented is that schools are unnatural, robotic, indoctrination camps which nobody would go to if they weren't forced to. Similarly, modern diets are unnatural and unhealthy and I see no need to adapt to them. So far I'm feeling great and I can't imagine going back.

There is no way that this doesn't destroy your health. And how do you deal with the smell. Raw liver has one of the worst smells there is.

Is there any evidence that such a diet is actually healthy and sustainable? It sounds sick and disgusting to me. But you know i could be wrong. Could you show your evidence?

@BlackMaze Liver just smells mineral-rich to me. The smell and taste of organs depend a lot on the health of the animal. Was your liver grass-fed and antibiotics-free?

There hasn't been any meta-analysis done if that's what you're asking for. I can only provide logic (it's the natural human diet) and anecdotal evidence from myself and others. Also, just look up the nutritional value of organ meats.

If this is not rock solid evidence I don't know what is.

This is the a major difference between tier 1 and tier 2 thinkers. Are you ready to do real work and answer my question, what causes greens transition into yellow?

Heres a quick tutorial, the struggle and the transformation to yellow. lolol i wonder how accurate this actually is.

When all of greens attempts for change fail and out of desperation it calls for more insight, it unlocks yellow. lololol
