why I do I forgot I am devil?

why do i forget I am devil and thinks I am Saint. mostly I do observe my devillry and soon or after, I completely forgot about it and act holy. I know I am holy but I must also always remember that I am devil too. I know maybe it doesn't cooperate with my servival issue but how to say aware of it. why do you think this happens? does it happened to you?

Your ego always tries to make you look "good" so it can sustain itself. If you would see yourself as a devil  you would have to change and the ego doesn't like to change. Change=death, Ego's purpose=avoid death
