These are more basic and concern personality/ego types and the outer flow. There is a body type or endocrine typology which concerns one's essence and the inner flow and direction of the Enneagram. Information on this essence typology is more difficult to find.

The Complete Enneagram by Beatrice Chestnut is really amazing.

there lay an invincible summer.

My favorite Enneagram book is probably  - Facets of Unity by AH Almaas

@Espaim I don't know of any free ones right off.

For personality type, You might use this link above with descriptions of the types and decide for yourself and then maybe use the Diamond Approach illustrations and commentary to help hone in better on what type you may possibly be.

For body (endocrine/essence) type, the following site would be handy.

Claudio Naranjo - Ennea-type Structures https://www.amazon.com/dp/0895560631/
Eli Jaxon-Bear - Fixation to Freedom: The Enneagram of Liberation https://www.amazon.com/dp/1732952345
Sandra Maitri - The Spiritual Dimension of the Enneagram: Nine Faces of the Soul https://www.amazon.com/dp/1585420816/

Advanced:
Sandra Maitri - The Enneagram of Passions and Virtues: Finding the Way Home https://www.amazon.com/dp/1585427233/
A.H. Almaas - Facets of Unity: The Enneagram of Holy Ideas https://www.amazon.com/dp/0936713143/

The Beatrice Chestnut book is ok but I'd rather get DVDs or MP3s of Naranjo (on which the book is based on), if possible.

http://www.rahul.net/raithel/otfw/enneagram.html The inner direction of the enneagram is found dividing 1 by 7

,,,,,Now we divide unity by seven (1/7=.1428571...), and so add a six-pointed figure:,,,,,,

There is both an inner and an outer teaching found in the Enneagram

Trivia: In Beelzebubs Tales to his Grandson Gurdjieff never uses the word enneagram. However he does talk about the law of ninefoldedness.
