@Beeman Yep, life moves in cycles.

Some periods are full of deep meditation, lots of time in silence.

Other times are full of being out in the world, failing forward.

It's a cycle that we need to integrate more and more of.

Contemplation should never stop. You should always be aware of your feelings and motivations. What is often needed is to take a break from endless doing. When you find yourself spinning your wheels, struggling, disappointed, or exhausted, that's when it's time to slow things down and let go of attachments. Pacing yourself is part of the process. Two steps forward, one step back, as they say.

I am thinking to contemplate for 10 days and 5 days complete off. So that I can detach myself from over and obsessive thinking, so I can live my life with knowledge that I have. 

This includes only contemplations not meditation.

Meditation helps you build present moment awareness and mental strength. Both can decline rapidly so you don't want to give up the practice. My number one rule is stick to my meditation practice no matter what. I can see the value in taking a break from contemplation especially if it's something you obsess over. You have to let the mind rest. It can also be helpful to take a break from reading and watching videos. Too much information and not enough insight leads to confusion.
