but, as concentration is as it is, it's not unhealthy nor does it necessarily cause issues as you said.

@Bluff lol using concentration/thought to end psychological problems is unhealthy my man. It’s the cause of psychological conflict. Concentration/thought has its place fosho. There is no NOW if it’s applied psychologically. This understood when we understand thought/“the me”

I think concentration can  be the  precursor to awareness .You train concentration to increase your attention span that can help you to be able to focus on your breath fully on every nook and crannies, the temperature, the sensation and the flow . the awareness that means the state in witch you control 100% of your psychic energy and in science call the Optimal experience.

Applying concentration which is thought movement to reach psychological satisfaction/security actually keeps that dissatisfaction/insecurity alive dude. You don’t understand that? Or you do?

Control and concentration are the same. Control is divided attention. Attention or awareness is not divided and not controlled one bit. That’s the awsome part about this. The self=controller, divided attention, concentration, psychologically time. All of that comes from thought. Thought is hella gnarly isn’t it.

What would you do when you will want to focus on the 5 centers, with split awareness in 5 parts? to open the 6th?

Apply more concentration. Invent and project  an image of opening the 6th. More psychological time trying to cultivate kundalini experience xD

@Jack River You aren't paying attention. we are Information mechanisms, we are able to receive and produce information. You are at any time receive some information that you pay attention to and ignore the rest because of brain ability to process limited information at the time. Your brain chooses the information for you in accordance to  your usual state of mind. Most of it is trained by environment and all these practises is to reprogram your brain to be in your favour not against you.
