Future-Past

9 posts in this topic

Read an interesting concept last night that the future and the past are not two.  It's fun to think about, because my belief is firmly rooted in linear time, so the mind tends to relax a bit when I give it some contemplation.  I love to think about time because it constantly challenges the belief in linear time, and sometimes you can have some cool experiences if you challenge your perception of time.

Plus, future-past just sounds cool.  ?

“My” and the belief, one and the same movement of past, present, future(TIME).  :)

Time is a concept. It doesn't really exist.

Could you explain why it doesn't exist?

@MiracleMan It’s a thought. There is nobody here dude. Nobody present. Look, point to time. Look, point to a “you”, point to a “me”. Then contemplate, what the hell is the pointing? Who’s pointing, at what, at who?      Belief / Thought: I’m a human being, amoung human beings, born and dies, linear time.            Direct Experience: Miracle, veiled with time, identity, belief in thoughts. ❤️ There is no such thing as identity, sans a thought in a dream.

Thought being a sequence of events in memory gives the illusion of time. Self comes from thought. Belief comes from fear in the division of thought. Time being strengthened by psychological becoming and thought.
