They just do, once he said: 'Did someone make you ask that question?'

The advaita claim of 'no free will' often is contextual more to implication there is no 'you' to 'have' free will, and that the thoughts of '[I am a separate] doer of action and thought' are false, but beingness is full of intelligence and freedom.

I have not seen free will either but I feel pretty sure I am experiencing it in some form ^^

Only thought gives rise to meaning, significance, value, and purpose.
