Can I become rich without AI?

I know this forum isn’t particularly focused on money and finance, but I’d like to see more discussions about these topics here. Personally, I want to make money and financial education a much bigger focus in my life.

I’ve never learned programming or anything related to AI. Now I’m becoming interested in these fields, but I sometimes feel like it’s already too late to start.

Another thing is that I don’t want to spend most of my time working behind a computer. I’ve spent a large part of my life isolated, and I don’t want to spend even more lonely hours in front of a screen.

So, honestly, I don’t have the best attitude toward AI. On the other hand, I wonder whether it’s still possible to build something successful and become wealthy without having deep knowledge of AI or using it extensively in today’s world.

What do you think? Is AI becoming a necessary skill for anyone who wants to build wealth, or are there still plenty of opportunities outside the tech world?

Of course. 

You also don't have to be a master programmer to use AI effectively for a few processes inside of your business. 

AI is also good at allowing for more remote work due to being able to dictate to your phone and have something like Claude work behind the scenes while you're on a hike for example.

It's like asking if business is possible without the internet; yes there are plenty of shops that don't have social media or any web presence today. It limits their scaling potential but they can make a living just fine.

No way. AI is just starting. It is not late at all.

What does this mean to you? You can use AI in all sorts of things, there are many models that do various things. 

You start with doing research. If you don't have research skills, develop that first. You can't predict what you find with your research.

This is the problem I am looking to solve. You could call it laziness. Trying to min max everything to do the minimum work and maximize what I feel I want emotionally. You hit a ceiling quickly with this strategy. I think the way to solve it is finding a way to become conscious of what is going on here to the point where you can see the limitations you are putting on yourself and consciously choose differently instead of enacting your conditioning unconsciously. I plan to start on Saturday with cleaning out my storage room without dissociating which I have avoided for many years.

Bro, AI is literally just dumping crap you don't want to deal with into it, and cleaning up the slop by having good taste.

It's not about being good at AI, it's about having good taste.

give a dumb person an LLM and they will use it to generate slop that will rot their brain.
