5-MeO-DMT safe for Bipolar II meds?

11 posts in this topic

I take Abilify and Lamotrigine, how can I find out if it is safe to take 5-MeO-DMT? Same question for 5-MeO-Malt.

Also, do we have any members on this forum that care to share their experience with 5-MeO-DMT and Bipolar disorder?

Any thoughts, comments, or concerns are also welcome.

Thanks y'all!

No way to know for sure without small tests. Test tiny doses.

That's what I'm leaning towards

@PenguinPablo That's not what I'm worried about. I take psychedelics all the time with no issue. I realize that 5-MeO is different so who knows.

What I'm concerned about is if 5-MeO is contraindicated with my medications. I'm not quite ready to physically die.

I took 5 meo while on Abilify. No problem.

How did that go?

Still effective? I mean it's not an anti-psychotic so I suppose it was...

Did the Abilify work for you in general?

It was a good trip.

Abilify did nothing for my symptoms.

I think not even the best psychiatrists would know the answer to that, since it was never studied. There is not obvious red flag like with MAO-inhibitors (serotonin syndrom) ect. But you gotta test it out in baby steps by yourself. And report back here. ;)
