Why is China hated so much in the West?

Interesting.

For me, this is pretty straightforward.

Increased imports from China and exportation of American work to China minus capacity to effectively balance with tariffs has made many unemployed people angry and a geopolitical conversation the USA have only been able to presently manage with "blame China", and is otherwise, out of solutions.

But there are undercurrents.

Taiwan is where Beijing’s claim over a self-governing island confronts US support for its defence; its advanced chip factories also make disruption globally consequential.

China has spent decades developing capabilities to make American intervention costly and uncertain, like literally decades preparing for any potential USA military initiative however it may arise in part because the country always knew underneath just how departed they were and would be in the future from the West. Think about it, you've become a global export super-power, any smart government will realise if they don't reinvest back into protections, they'll become sitting ducks on an economic landmine field. Especially when yes of course, the CCP for example and how they run things is materially different from the US political system.

For Trump, America and AI as well, "it's us or China", which is why these AI companies are profiting far more through fear campaigns than they are through utopian visions of the future because they're promised geopolitical repositioning for every time they can at least simulate a potential improvement in AI even if a real one hasn't occurred; or is only marginal.

At present, the only threat is biological AI, and recklessly spending money on models where even if say OpenAI, Grok and or Anthropic built the best models, the competition is only potentially weeks away. Militarily and or economically, that's never going to be enough of an advantage, unless you can manipulate your competition that you've 'always got something better and potentially in hiding', of which, they kinda get away with sometimes.

Overall, it’s rising heat in already air that's had maximum humidity for decades and with other global interdependent relationships, from China with Russia, and America's alliances across Europe and Asia.

Study many different ecosystems and their natural environments as well, and this stuff has a much more seamless common sense to it. Best.

The US, guided by its deluded political philosophy of manifest destiny, had indeed had waged wars against its neighbors.

Its invasive war against canada ended in failure inspite of Jefferson's exhortation that Canada can be had by mere marching.

However its war against mexico was successful leading to capture of over 55% of Mexican territory . This is a reason for the bad blood and ongoing feud between the US and Mexico.

US had also waged wars and invasions in south american countries of Nicaragua, Haiti,Dominican repubic, Grenada, Panama, as well as a failed invasion of Cuba.

The CIA was instrumental in unseating democratically elected governments in South America like that of Brazil, Guatemala,Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay replacing them with military dictatorships during Operation Condor whenever the corporate interests of the US was threatened by them.

Many of these US allied military dictorships resulted in genocides in their countries, which  was ignored by the west as long as their corporate interests were taken care of by these dictatorships.

Chilean dictator Pinochet responsible for the torture and deaths of  thousands of dissidents in Chile counted George Bush and Margaret Thatcher as his best friends who always bailed him out of trouble when accusations of human rights violations came up.

Consequently the west  and Latin America had essentially been at loggerheads with each other over the former's support of the military dictatorhsips.

Most of these are over trade. Still a step above keeping concentration camps and state side genocide of particular people's. I don't see America doing straight up Nazi shit in current day. You don't even acknowledge it. Just "America bad".

The whole problem with these campist east bloc simps is that you don't measure a country by its merits but to the degree it opposes the US. Just because it opposes the thing you don't like doesn't make it good. You'd support nazis for opposing America.

How can you justify numerous invasions and replacing democratically elected governments with military dictatorships killing thousands of political dissidents for the sake of unethical trade, money and profits saying a dismissive  "Most of these are over trade. "  !

If these governments were stable and had flourished without external interventions , south america itself with its vast natural resources could have become a wealthy continent in all respects and contributed greatly to the global economy and stability. Instead we have an underdeveloped continent with poverty, technological backwardness and high illiteracy that should have been wiped out long back by its leaders.

The Nazis for all their horrors never claimed to be champions of democracy , freedom loving, ethical and moral,  and committed to human rights , and was honest at least in that regard.
