The existence of Israel is the fucked-up result of, again, humanity’s millennia-long need to scapegoat and blame a group of people for our problems. WE created Israel when we decided some random monotheists from the Levant were to blame for all every ill the world. Someone in this very thread blamed the Russo-Ukraine war - a war between Orthodox Christian countries - on Jews, for some idiotic reason. 

This is why, despite agreeing with the majority of the pro-Palestinian side’s arguments, I don’t hold the same unique hatred of Israel as they do, because I know, lurking in the shadow of that psyche somewhere, is Adolf wanting to slaughter every Jewish person alive for the fact Trump is president and healthcare costs so much. It’s the same dogshit, tired scapegoating mechanism that we still cling to out of paranoia and stupidly and an inability to see all people as human. 
 

Again, Israel is still in the wrong here - but until you face your own twisted desire to enact bloody vengeance on the “Hebrew race” for the crime of your own stressful existence (and trust me, it exists) we will get fundamentally nowhere.

It’s nothing inherent to Jews. It is a pattern in human societies to resent and blame minority groups particularly unassimilated ones.

Americans did it to native Americans and blacks. Israelis themselves are doing it to Palestinians.

What you’re referring to is a European phenomenon caused by long periods of Jews being culturally distinct minorities. Economic success also added to it through class resentments which is another pattern. Also it wasn’t even a desire to kill all Jews for most of European history, it just escalated to that when criticism shifted from religious to racial.

That isn’t inherent to humans, Jews lived peacefully in the Muslim world for long periods of time, the issues and racism that did occur was of a different character and more similar to issues of other groups in the region due to different culture and structures of societies.

See the Black Plague, it effected both Europe and the Muslim world, but you didn’t see the Muslim world targeting Jews over it like Europe did at the time.

Jews also lived in India with little pushback.

Irregardless just point blank assuming we can’t criticize Israel because we may secretly be antisemitic is illogical.

Supporting Israel has been what actually resulted in increasing antisemitism. Scientific data finds antisemitic activity increases when israel engages in aggression.

If israel was criticized more and earlier and the critics weren’t repressed, antisemitism wouldn’t have increased like it has. For decades israel critics in the US for leftist Jews and liberal academics who got stomped on and accused of antisemitism no matter how balanced their arguments. Because they failed now elements of the far right is criticizing Israel and framing it as racial grievances, and using the constant censorship as proof of Jewish control. This actually caused antisemitism, and was the result of a lack of support for criticism prior which weakened the critics who didn’t push this line.

If we created israel we should stop idiotically empowering every fanatic and warmonger there to the point where they are wrecking the global economy. If we enter a recession because of the Iran shit the amount of antisemitism is going to be immense and the only people who are trying to stop it are the ones who Zionists are constantly calling antisemitic for calling out their toxic behavior and ridiculous plots.
