How Does An Individualist Navigate a "Multicultural" environment?

4 posts in this topic

I live in a city in Canada where people like to stick to their own tribe (aka multi-culturalism, for the delusional retarded politicians).

There are three issues I am noticing:

1) I'm noticing I get prejudiced heavily, because people assume that since i'm of a certain ethnicity that I must think like the people from that ethnicity. Sure we can't avoid such prejudice, but its like 100x in this city, and its affecting work and daily interactions in terms of productivity and emotional stress.

2) No social norms. Many don't know North American social norms and many don't even speak English well enough. Again causing productivity and emotional stress.

3) Deconstructing reality is the ultimate individualistic pursuit, and living in such a very dated fucking tribalistic environment makes navigating daily life so much fucking worse than just being a materialistic individualist.

I don't know to live in this environment, when toxic green (delusional white leaders who love PR and sing "kumbaya"); toxic orange (typically kids of immigrants, who pursue success and status); toxic blue (recent migrants, and their kids who care about pleasing their parents); and some toxic red (recent migrants from certain parts known for posturing, maintainjng honor, etc)

The thing USA got right was emphasizing a "melting pot," rather than this retarded "multi-culturalism." Also, not just having one group dominate immigration.

Note: Many Americans living in this city feel the same way btw.

I just want advice on dealing with daily living in this environment when one is such a radical individualist, and all you see is lower levels of ego-centrism upon even lower levels of ego-centrism. I wouldn't have an issue if it didn't affect me, but when it causes so much productivity issues and social friction, you can't help but to wonder, "can this character even play survival on his own terms, when the playing field isn't even allowing him to play a different game?"

In a few moments imma imagine myself being one of the proponents of multi-cultrualism and having me met with bad fortune, whether my daughter getting raped, getting cancer, and everything that such character values. I want this multiculturalism advocate to fucking suffer the worse ever suffering a human can ever fucking experience.

Take a look on this

What connection do you see between Lasch's argument and what I wrote. Are you suggesting that the individualism I'm describing is itself a product of the same cultural conditions I'm criticizing?

Also, i'm individualistic not from the culture, but from being open to people like Leo, and other radical thinkers, who really encouraged me to start thinking and questioning things independently of others. Also because of genetics, I never had an issue siding with a stranger I just met over a family member, if they're right.

I jokingly said this to my friend, but I said I have my own culture, where I'm the only member of that culture.

I dont appreciate that you don't really propose an explicit solution to my concern. It feels like you're just saying "Oh, take a look at the mirror."

Anyways, i'm not really knee deep into mainstream politics or political issues like Palestine, Ukraine, or wahtever retardation is on the internet. I'm just focused on the issue that i am experiencing atm.

Ehh fuck all this, I don't need yalls opinion on this. Don't need anyones idea to bounce off of. Imma just contemplate the fuck outta this more -- feeling the coristol from the negative experiences I had and will have from these ignorant degenerates, and see if I come out the other end. Or not, maybe this character will just kill itself, we'll see lmao.
