I don’t know or care who I think is correct between you two, but someone’s willingness to debate live and publicly has little to do with how correct they are. Plenty of excellent debaters are idiots and some of the smartest people on earth are terrible debaters.

On top of this, you have an advantage here because your identity is already fairly public. Not everybody wants their face or persona publicly out on the internet, for a variety of excellent reasons that don’t include being too scared to debate you.

Also, yes, typing is cheap and talking on a call is an order of magnitude more effort. Most people don’t care enough to actually commit to that for a silly internet debate.

So yes, making this offer makes you look strong and confident, to a degree, which is I suspect why you went down this route. But rejecting the offer does not inherently mean someone else “lost” or is wrong

That's exactly my point. To bring value as a human and especially as a man:  you need to produce results. A lot of people on this forum run away from this simple fact, it's been the foundation of a lot of debates I've had on here for months now. 

Plenty of smart people are cowards that can't pitch convincingly to a board of investors or an employer and thus they underperform in life. Real life requires effective communication under pressure, otherwise you will fall way short of your potential. It's absolutely a part of being a competent person in society. 

Of course I have an advantage having a public brand, that's why everyone should have one. If you value anonymous keyboard warrior forum debates instead of a face to face conversation then you've lost the plot.
