Mediums

I lost my girlfriend to cancer and went to a medium. It was an incredible experience. Undeniably, mediums are 100% real. I even have it recorded and went over. It is so important for healing to continue to have a relationship with your beloved who have passed and mediums can be an integral part of that. It was healing in and of itself, but mostly I wanted to verify that the experiences I have been having communicating with her are real. I just want to post so that anyone who might benefit from this knows someone else on this forum (who hopefully isn't crazy) can verify a legit medium is 100% a legit medium.

I’m sorry for your loss. How long ago did she pass away?

What made you believe they’re 100% real? Did the medium speak with specific facts from the gf’s life that the medium couldn’t have known, or smth like that?

Yes exactly, over and over. Even if she had the fbi investigate me she couldn't have known all that stuff.

how specific were the details ? I've heard people say similarly , but then when asked for the actual details it's very vague and general. sorry if that's rude given the circumstances I'm just really curious because I've also lost people .

I'm curious what you guys think is the relationship between oneness / infinity and individuality after physical death.

@Oppositionless To know infinity is one thing. But to dissolve into it without leaving a trace is quite another kettle of fish. Until that time beingness will occupy many levels of existence with or without the body.

@cetusyeah that makes sense to me, the version of nonduality that Bernardo Kastrup and other rational-spiritualists where after death you just merge with the whole with no individuality left wasn't very intellectually or emotionally satisfying to me. I think in an interview Bernardo was asked about death and he said he pictures it being like a sensory deprivation tank. But I don't think the data (NDEs, past life memories, out of body experiences) supports that.

@Oppositionless Don't know about any of that jazz. But I know what I know. And that is, your beingness/ your essence will exist on many levels until it decides otherwise.  And at time it will return to its womb. -Infinity.

Very specific. No doubt. Probably not gonna get into it for privacy reasons but mindblowing stuff. 

I would say you should go. I think different mediums are able to get more or less specific evidential stuff depending on how good they are probably. So do you research.

Yea that sounds good. Before I thought that you might just dissolve completely into God and then imagine yourself is something completely different but now I believe this individual self is certainly not constrained by human bodies or physical life.
