My website without bells and whistles

16 posts in this topic

My spiritual-scientific-art work without bells and whistles:

Leo Gura explained me: "nobody would come to your website with these rotating shimmers, neon chakras".

This is now the second version of "minimalist.html" version I made for whoever Leo was talking about, and who might be at this website:

  • This is permanent link but not very advertised; yet it was once at top of google results about my website so eventually, a number of people might have liked this.
  • It has rotating background removed.
  • It has one rotating effect removed ("Alchemotesimal" button has rotating sodiac image at default loader page).

It has all new updates, including music player with some Viking songs I added today: not very reliable unless you specifically keep the main page open, but it could still be amusement or mood-builder; after some Viking songs come the germanese Freyan songs.

@tvaeli I have to agree with Leo. I've been involved with website design for a couple decades now, and there's something called visual design fundamentals and user interface (UI) design fundamentals. You're breaking many rules.

A complex UI only works after the user has bought in and has a reason to explore it. Your homepage or landing page should be about selling the idea/making the offer clear.

So I'd go back to AI with something like:

- Can you take screenshots of my site and let me know what design and UI fundamentals are violated?
- Can you help me get clear on the offer so we can figure out how to present this?
- Can we explore information architecture?

FYI, sounds/music should be very intentional with websites. You definitely don't want to have users hear viking songs when they come to your site. This isn't mere opinion.

What if this is just fascination + identity + seriousness being inflated into universal importance?

There are actually many angry low-rank people telling me to not sell mine.

Information is load of senses, but the one given is actually meaningful - this is the basis of design.

It's also an open source effort, and altough it has some 1000 hits per week more or less, generalized, it's yet waiting for real readers.

This design is evolving with this:

- It does not want to sell it, but rather the flow of flaws is consistent with complexity of the text.

- Users themselves are supposed to produce sites of particular interests.

Easy-go, business style of design does not match - rather, the style is adventure, hard to focus and not so clear right now.

The turing paradox: otherwise I interact with people, who actually think they go through alive; many people think their nervous systems must not overload, and if they get into white, elegant, nice design - they expect an operating system for their mind, not a clutter of ideas which mainly need effort on their own side, making people rather yell *unless they are already introduced with complex design*.

Readers and their counts are nice social feature, but the base of reality is rather to make sure the right people eventually land. I am sure they are not the small-effort people.

Interesting mix of styles - it just hints I must have specific styles yet at hand. I think I am just slightly more epic and just slightly less enjoying in my typical taste for songs on this theme. This style is like same theme, but in different frequency - it's not so inevitably clear for me.

I've been lately into rituals of Ra; the Egiptian Ra is basically well-known shamanist God, I've seen Ra and Prometheus are popular in Viking lands:

Uhm. I hate to break it to you, but this really isn't a well designed website. It's incredibly overwhelming, too bright, too much going on, no consistency among UI components, no hierarchy among UI elements. It's not immediately apparent what is going on at all.

Use claude-design to generate a desent UI for your website. Just describe what you want in details and see what comes up.

Here is the actual truth:

- Too much going on: I am trying hard to cover my whole science in basic level.

- No consistency among UI components: throughout the system, mostly every element is designed uniquely. One should not expect too much consistency.

- Too bright, moving - the topic itself is the same. It's too bring and moving - exponential wavelengths, basically.

- No hierarchy amongst UI elements: I worked hard to *remove single entry point and replace it with entry points for different audiences*.

Here is one design consideration:

Quote

This information is mine, throughout my web ecosystem:

- But deliberately designed so that for good representation, someone has to select, beautify, fix the details and present.

- My presentation *deliberately* lacks certain quality criteria *because I am not able to provide it for big science*; it does so in agile, iterative method.

- The main website has 48,914 views throughout it's history (only what begins with "spireason.neocities.org"; it does 100-200 per day, vs. some 60-80 in beginning of this year. With these numbers I think it's strange if people do not build websites for you.

I emphasize:

- This website is not meant to be main, monopolistic provider of my sciences.

- It's not meant to be too simple, because I must sure it can be reproduced.

- With 100-200 people at my web site, and others around - if not the same people: I am really surprised that specific audiences do not have their own personalized styles. With Open Source product you don't have to tell me *it's hard to read* - from my viewpoint, you do the work; I have done more than 10 years of work on this science, based on my previous philosophies and research as well, and it's hard to get information there - people talking me about the ass of their woman should make sure their version fits their curtains.

It's like:

- I am not the only person in the world.

- I am not there to sell it, but each group has at least one person to watch the neon lights and choose one consistent part for them.

- It's not my idea to make it popular - scientist and popular writer are usually *strictly* different people, and me - I am even more. There is no reason why 99% of people should feel joy and pleasure there; I am attracting some 1-2% of people and it's really a bad business if they cannot provide nice interfaces to others. If the others won't pay money - well it's the *stupidest* version to come to tell me about the work quality, because I am poor and I do not want to see people who earn some salary and try to give me their free offers of *watching at me* - please, explain your problems to your friends, and thank me. Who lack their private version of open source product, are *always evil* especially if they come to tell. Telling - paying.

In short:

- Making my math and website was *far from fun*.

- I keep it up for minority of people who can really understand, work on complex data etc. Altough there are many more popular-language docs.

- Each person must belong and talk with their local open source group about sites which should be amusements on my science; my work is not amusement, it's not meant that you come, enjoy easy life, pleasure, etc. - I did not have it. It's your open source community which has to do it: never tell it to me that you wan't this other website - it does not exist. At least one man of your circle has to sacrifice and look at the rotating, neon light, chakra wheel which is irritating to your mind. My mind is calm, meditated, able and force - think *how heavy amount of data I had to go through to get all the numbers and words right*.

Sorry let's try to be simple:

- The minimalist interface I made based on Leo Gura's request: making a version out of my normal site is 10 minutes; remove rotating wheel background and rotating zodiac signs. Finish.

- Creating alternative interface with Claude is not possible: AI cannot contemplate on all, more than 100 links and explanations on the site.

Navigation:

- Spireason.neocities.org - Laegna "home page", "landing page", "central collection". "Lander2" button allows to download PDF's, it's original white-background but not proofread or edited document collection introducing the whole concept.

- When you open the site, buttons and menus lead to different interfaces. I Call this top 100% of spireason.neocities.org it's "Console"; Laegna-SpiReason ecosystem's main console.

- If you want to read one single, organized document, at Console choose "study" to arrive at https://laegna.notaku.site/ - *another entry*, for people who want long, organized material in one single study document; linear content - home site is *non-linear*.

- If you want to cooperate, read sources or documentation - github.com/tambetvali contains all the "source", mostly source information, repositories. I do think that most users would want to locate 4-5 repositories themselves or by help of friend; some are math, some are scientific, some are for programmers and hackers and some are spiritual, some are symbolic. I span the same information accross paradigms and it's not organized information.

- LaeArve repo was meant to be another complete introduction, with more programmer-oriented goal.

- AI is used to provide many illustrations and images.

- AI generated web apps, pages, other web materials are often illustrative, interactive; some have consistent design while others have semi-consistent, and their scope and size - for single app or page, is always handleable.

Specifically, if any user base wants specific domain, mentality, opinion based version, they have to create their open source community and fork any of my content.

Do you have a better version of my initial content? You can use them for free - the good work you do have; never mind mine. This is copyright.

All the work is under iterative development and agile processing;

- You "corrections" look very bad because as a wannabe for open source community, you need to send me the corrected version of exact text.

Well let's go into real details:

- Theoretic framework is made by me.

- Classic frameworks and history applied by AI, as well as many analysis.

Iterative work means with minimal work, maximum value is provided for fractal small step:

- This means your mention of "quality" is *iterationally wrong*, not agile but rather lazy strategy of releasing late in waterfall, you cannot be commented.
- Right format for correcting the quality is to create corrected materials or present the ones which we should use, which contain independent quality content not depending on my source with my quality.

People in big have not paid me for my work, no special awards, so "man from crowd" is *nothing*:

- The social work can only become around open source community where word is paid with code.

- This is not product to be sold, but open source work *specifically designs seed work of source ideas and references*.

- I specifically state under Documentation that I provide no basis for undeserved competitive advantage of any kind, and people without authority for creative personal work and understanding, can not benefit on my domain-based work. I specifically do not provide your custom domain or audience.

Such as w3c browser used to be - https://www.w3.org/Amaya/

- You must carefully understand that amaya has bad quality look, wobbling interface, and no usability at all, for anything at all.

- It's the authoritative example of how decent web works, the 100% standard-compliant reference point for all the other providers, which provide market needs and quality assurance for end-users and their range of needs. They often fail in being standard-compliant, but communicate back to w3c, and negotiate to get into more standard-compliant web, where *ugly and perfect Amaya browser* used to be the highest milestone.

- You must understand my audience works on complex materials, and compromise I've done is big enough. Your domain based interest is solved by your domain activists you support with money and help, not people you used to attack on internet. Your independent work on modern science or anything you independently desire is welcome if it does not disturb, and can be connected if it helps us.
