How to breakthrough on nn dmt? Insanity necessary?

My first time I did DMT (except for a brief test before hand) I broke through to God Conciousness first try. This was 5 years ago. And there wasnt really any insanity.

Fast forward to today,Ive had half a decade to awaken deeper and intergrate so my baseline state is a lot higher. So im coming into tripping with way more conciousness then when I started so im not sure this has an effect. 

 If I try to take a break through dose I instantly realize absolutely everything is a construction and enter insanity. Now Im not scared and relatively grounded. But its hard to focus on generating insight with this level of insanity. Its utterly amazing at the same time. So dont get me wrong here. 

How do I circumvent this do I just need to getting going insane until its something Im used to? Or am I doing something wrong. My ego is resistant to entering that state but I have a genuine desire to breakthrough to deeper levels of conciousness.

I can’t speak specifically about DMT, as I have never done it. But the goal of tripping in general isn’t to make yourself go insane. It is for pure understanding.

This sounds like you are afraid of going insane, but also at the same time knowing that you must experience it yourself to know

You can always lower your dose.
