If taken as a belief which is what neo-advaita seems to push.  But true no self realization is not a trap

This stuff is very complex and depends on a person's place on their path,

Yes but again. Mysticism. It doesn't exist in the neo-advaitans vocabulary and it is very real. Have you had any awakenings?

I've never met you so all this talk is going over my head frankly.

You can realize no self and nothingness directly as actuality. And still be self deceived about God. These are facets of awakening, not the end all be all.

You can realize no self without realizing Self

This is still a story about enlightenment.

Obviously 🙄

It’s the greatest spiritual story ever told. You of all people know this already, you have your own spiritual story broadcasting all over the internet for people you’ve never met to read.

You have never met anyone, actually. All that’s happening here on the internet highway is a mentally constructed inner-net of information being exchanged in the form of multiple formless ideas. Just so you know.

That is a belief.

If that’s what you believe then that’s what it is.

Hey, i got a good one for ya to take your mind off this, im watchin the "Explicit vs Implicit" episode, cause i thought to myself... What did that mean again, i totally forget. However, it made me think of this term that im struggling to remember, related to like... that fire inside us ~sorta thing, iuno... its like ... Well id have to look through some of my writings, but i feel as though theres a word for like the fire of self, or im butchering it, but something.. somethin like that...

Paraphrase from Poimandres (Corpus Hermeticum): "... that which is in the Word is also in ourselves."

Greek Magical Papyri (PGM): "I call upon the Word of the All, that which binds heaven and earth, and let it manifest in the circle."

Plato – Cratylus (439–440): "A name is a likeness of the thing itself; if rightly spoken, it carries the essence of what it names."

Even though you know the concept “belief” seemingly happy to project that concept as actuality.

That’s the brains job to extract knowledge on demand so that it never needs to forget to remember.

I should add rel quick before i go back to watchin, i dont remember if wat i said leads back to enlightenment at all, per this threads topic, as ive forgotten what it was, and i kno for certain it was somethin i never wrote down in notes. Its perhaps something very simple, but thats somethin i really dont remember right now. Yous mighta even already mentioned it in the course of talking, i dont know yet.... would have to go through everything.
