Guys, Owen Cook is so fuckin overrated. Yes, he is a master at breaking down social dynamics and we all learned a lot from him. But he is still on the spectrum and is a VERY eccentric guy in field. 

He is also very physically unattractive and exhibits dark triad traits.

Can he get results? Sure. But I personally dont consider him an authority. I made a thread a little while ago where RSD Jeffy and Luke exposed that Owens game is terrible. Too polarizing, too over the top and gets him constantly blown out and thrown out of venues because he lacks social calibration.

@Natasha Tori Maru Yes, because he talks about this all the time, that girls don't like to listen to his free tours, that girls tell him to stop talking about it and just have fun, as he is creating his message specifically for men on those free tours. Which means he has a way to speak to an audience of 100 men versus talking to one girl one on one. It is like you talking to a group of girls and lead them and you talking to one men, it is different in the way you communicate.

@Zenterus RSD Jeff and Luke are probably trying to sell their own courses to be fair. How to sell? Bring other people in your niche down especially the top people in it. Happens all the time.

This could be an underestimation on how quickly women pick up on the most subtle queues. I don't get the same oddball read on other couches in this field like I do Owen. And they are speaking to men in their talks I watch also.

Luke and Jeffy were working with RSD at the time. They have no incentive to ruin the reputation of their boss and their company, as a consequence. Plus, the clip was taken from a paid seminar where Luke was teaching the crowd about Social Circle Game. Owen kinda came up randomly while they were riffing. 

They even mention themselves that Owen himself admits to sucking compared to the other instructors and that he brought them on to learn from them. There even is an infield compilation where Julien is constantly stealing girls from Owen.

Wake up dude. 

There was an ex RSD employee that used to edit Owens infield videos that made a video on YouTube some years ago about his experience working in the company (video has since been deleted but John Anthony Lifestyle covered it on his channel, but I knew about it from waaayyy before). In the video, the guy basically admits that Owen is a better public speaker than he is a PUA and that after watching whole footage of his entire nights out while editing them that there is nothing "special about his game." Those were his exact words. He is just a guy who goes out a shit ton and has a strong work ethic and of course, if you approach 50 girls a night in an overly polarizing fashion, you will get 1-2 at the end of it.

Why do you think Owen popularized going out 7 nights a week? Because he has to if he is to get any results cause his game gets him blown out 99% of the time.

Dude, as I said, he is great at breaking down social dynamics because of his autism. He is very meticulous and I've learned a lot about dating from him. But his game fucking sucks. There is a difference between knowing how to talk game vs demonstrating it in field.

@Natasha Tori Maru I am not here to defend Owen, I am just saying that it is different and has called this out, so he is aware of this. And if he was such an oddball, you wouldn't see him have girls be high responsive to him infield. I paid for his hotseat at home months ago, which is where you see him talking to girls and it is very different then him talking on stage and girls seem to be enjoying him and being around him etc.

@Zenterus I am not saying Owen is the best, but Leo calling him creepy is going way too far to me, I call guys that don't approach at all or only drink to get laid creepy. Standing there with their beer, busting up the courage to approach, that is more creepy to me then whatever Owen is doing. Also any club promoters or people with good looks cannot be taken seriously, they have huge advantage. Also if a guy is going out there, trying to get results and all he hears is people that are doing PUA to be creepy, that isn't really helping anyone. I was responding to that, not to defend Owen.

To add, Owen doesn't do daygame. He is purely a night game guy. Why is that? Because day game deals with sober girls, in their right mind, who are very sensitive to any weirdo behaviour in a man who is approaching them. You need very solid social calibration in the day time vs night time.

In a bar or club, where girls are partying and drinking, you dont need to be as sharp because the girls are in a different headspace. If Owen can barely get results at night, you BEST BELIEVE he aint getting none in the day time.

The guy cant read social cues too well. He admits this himself in almost all his videos.

@Something Funny are you a girl? I don't think you understand what it means to go up to girls as a men, it isn't easy. I have had many times had girls say "FUCK OFF" and that was when I was starting of course and no longer have that too much, but it isn't easy, you easily can come off the wrong way. And I don't blame woman for this, it just means it isn't easy for men.

Your issue is that you can't consider that somebody else can be wired completely differently when it comes to approaching women.

Ypu are treating it not being easy as some objective fact when it's just your personal experience. For some people it is easy because they are wired to see it as fun and exciting, not as something scary. And there are people who don't get bothered at all by being yelled "fuck off" at. 

Just like there are people who will get triggered hard and will have a nervous breakdown if their bed is not made in the morning and there are people who can live in a room full of garbage not be bothered by it. 

People have different psychologies, and traumas, and upbringings, and brain chemistry, so they react to situations differently

Unfortunately this rests on incorrect judgement and the assumption I knew who he was when I happenchanced upon him.

As stated above I don't get this read from other types of coaches in this field.

He’s peculiar / odd because he’s a combination of many uncommon archetypes.

He grew up a delinquent in Canada so he has gruff and cut throat nature

But at the same time he has high empathy 

But he had a difficult childhood so he lacks boundaries but is hyper independent

He has autism which has various symptoms like fixation and monologuing

But he modeled pickup artists and adopted their philosophies and developed a persona designed around getting attention in high stimulus clubs 

But he also adopted ideologies from eastern mysticism and more recently American conservatism

And finally he’s been traumatized by his high stress career and the resulting collapses
