Meditation , when you have chronic fatigue

11 posts in this topic

Hello community, a simple question. Is it worth doing meditation when you have health problems, or is it better to do health first? the question arose because after quite a long time (six months without breaks for 20 minutes a day) I don't feel any progress in this case. Still, fatigue makes it difficult to concentrate, and back pain adds its own zest to practice. Maybe I should just pull myself together?

@igor699669 20 min won't do anything. At least an hour of not moving. Do it around other people you wont fall asleep.

Lol i cant sit still more than 10 minutes, pain as hell is coming after 5 minutes. After 1 hour of that i probably never sit in meditation again)

So I assume you didn't buy Leo's premium clip vault cause he has a video on this exact topic

He recommends getting extra sleep the night before then doing all your meditation in one day, so instead of 20 mins every day, do 7 hours once a week. I am paraphrasing here though so I recommend you go watch that clip "Drowsy Meditation Does Not Count"

That's what I've been doing the past month and it's gotten me results already

20 mins does a lot when that’s all you have to spare.

@igor699669 my experience is that physical health equals mental health. And mental health equals deepest meditations. You can still do meditations by becoming aware of your back pain and aware of your body, mind, surroundings, in no way should that be impossible. Yet the deepest meditations for me have been after a good walk. So why not combine it? Go for a walk in nature, work on your health and body and at the end of an hour long walk you sit still and just be. That is what I love to do. It is up to you of course. Yet I would always advice to work on mental and physical health before meditation, meditation is just the cherry on the cake.
